Our group of 8 had an extremely relaxing weekend at Glen Carra. Dunkeld is easy to get to as it is just north of Perth on the A9 . Great base for exploring this part of Scotland. House is in a peacef… More

Owner's reply: We are delighted you had a good break in the house and we constantly try to improve the property. The latest project is a new decking area at the back of the garden to take in the evening sun with a glass of wine. I can report it works well.....even in February!

“Fantastic House. Have stayed on more than one occasion. Will definitely be going in 2013 again”

Really lovely house. Well appointed throughout with everything you need for a relaxed stay. Great base for walking / cycling. Always plenty of hot water and beds really comfy. Have stayed there a few times now and have always found it in an immaculate condition. The only thing is that there are only 6 dining chairs, but the owner has said they are looking to but a couple more. The times I have stayed we have had 7 or 8 adults and while we have had dinner out, breakfast time included the chairs from the bedroom. This however is the ONLY slight negative I could say about this property - and I am really FUSSY!!

Owner's reply: Thanks for the review and feedback. We really do appreciate your repeat bookings and look forward to having you back again.....and you will find we have all 8 dining chairs the next time too! Glen and Liz

Great place with four good sized bedrooms, 2 on-suite. really clean and warm with wood burning stove for extra cosy evenings. A great place to stay in a lovely location.

Owner's reply: Thanks for the review. Sitting round the wood burning stove seems to be a common pastime in Glen Carra! Liz and Glen

“Home away from home”

A fantastic retreat from the city and a really well stocked house. The owners have obviously thought of everything one needs when away from home with a wii and DVD's for the kids to a wood burning stove to gather around when it gets dark. (The house was soooo warm and cosy) Would recommend to everyone.

Owner's reply: Thanks for reviewing. We've tried hard to make sure we cater for everyone that stays at Glen Carra. The Wii games console was meant for the older children on rainy days....but adults are allowed a go too! L&G

“Beautiful house in a beautiful spot”

Three families fitted into this lovely modern house with ease. The house had everything we needed and there was lots to see and do in the surrounding area.

Owner's reply: Your visit during the Autumnal months in Dunkeld really is a great time to stay. With the vast and varied tree species the whole area is dappled in golden brown and ochre colours, a real treat. We would love to see you visit again! Liz and Glen
