Station Lodge is allocated opposite the Retford Railway Station, & is very close & within walking distance to Retford town centre, convenience stores/supermarkets/restaurants/shop/pubs.

Newly decorated & furnished, extremely large spacious x3 bedrooms, top-floor flat, sleeps potentially 10 guests comfortably, if small children are part of the group. The flat enriches you with the privacy of a home from home environment. The top-floor flat is one of three flats in the same building. All three flats are designated for holiday self-catering & short-let accommodation.

The top-flat has a fresh, comfortable, cosy, dazzling clean, bright, luscious finish. It is on two platforms, both with stairs to climb, leading up to the two platforms.

Platform 1, has The Locomotion Bedroom, the largest of the three bedrooms. This room provides a double bed with a cosy comfortable mattress and is equipped with fresh clean sheets, pillow cases, duvet, duvet covers, pillow case & mattress protectors and a blanket. There is also a set of draws, a wardrobe/coat hangers, x2 bedside draws/lamps for your convenience and comfort. The room also has a sofa-bed, sleeps x2 little ones, mattress topper for extra comfort for sleeping and of course it can be used for a sofa with an arm rest, x2 cup holders to help you relax, or watch the flat screen TV which is on the wall. A two seater sofa with cushions, is also provided in this room and is often used by guests as a communal lounge in addition to a bedroom for groups to have fun & enjoy each others company.

Opposite The Locomotion, on platform 1, there is a large kitchen with a TV/DVD on the wall so you can enjoy a spot of your favourite programme whilst you are preparing a scrummy meal or a brew. The kitchen also provides a breakfast bar/bar stools, fridge/freezer, modern microwave oven, x4 slice toaster, kettle, coffee machine, electric oven/hob, nutribullet, slow-cooker and of course cooking/eating equipment.

Please feel free to make yourself a complimentary brew! Tea-Coffee-Sugar-Whitener, is provided to help refresh you after your journey.

The spacious bathroom is on platform 1. The bathroom is fitted with a modern walk-in electric shower with quick & easy access to hot water. In the bathroom, fresh clean towels are provided for you. You will find the loo in the bathroom along with a sink. Loo rolls & hand soap, are provided in the bathroom.

The next set of stairs leads you up to platform 2. On your left you will find, The Thomas Twin Bedroom and on your right, The Flying Scotsman Double Bedroom.

The Thomas Twin Bedroom has two single beds with comfortable & cosy mattresses and are equipped with fresh clean sheets, pillow cases, duvet, duvet covers, pillow case/mattress protectors & blankets. A flat screen tv with remote control is on the wall for you to enjoy your favourite programmes. A wardrobe/coat hangers, set of draws, two bedside draws/lamps and a tub chair is available to you, for your convenience & comfort.

The Flying Scotsman Double Bedroom, has a double bed with a cosy comfortable mattress and is equipped with fresh clean sheets, pillow cases, duvet, duvet covers, pillow case & mattress protectors and a blanket. The room also has a sofa-bed, sleeps x2 little ones, mattress topper for extra comfort for sleeping and of course it can be used for a sofa with an arm rest, x2 cup holders to help you relax or watch the TV.

A wardrobe with coat hangers, a set of bedside tables/lamps are available for your convenience & comfort.

So, for my guests to have a fantastic visit from start to finish with no hanging around waiting for me to appear with keys, a self check-in/out service awaits you in the form of a key-safe, with precise details of how to enter and leave the accommodation. It is vital however, that guests are aware that I am only a phone call away throughout your visit. If you need me for anything concerning the flat or the area, or have any questions that you think I can help you with to ensure that you enjoy your visit thoroughly, then please just simply call or text. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If DAWN (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
