Enderley Lodge 3* with Gold Award is situated on the beautiful north Cornish coastline on the excellent 5* Retallack Resort and Spa site. The interior is exceptionally spacious, remarkably comfortable and well decorated to ensure a relaxing and luxurious holiday for all the family.

The home is very well appointed with the latest modern appliances including; full oven and grill with extractor fan, double glazed, central heating, flat-screen colour TV's, DVD, smoke alarms, radio/stereo/cd player, microwave ovens and dishwasher. The nature and location of lodge make it ideal for superb Cornish holidays all year round for all the family.

The only reason this home is not graded a 4* property is due to it having a dishwasher over a washing machine. At some point in the future we will replace.

Downstairs comprises of a hallway/ reception room, spacious kitchen/dining area with open plan carpeted living room, a twin bedroom ( sleeping 2 persons), a children's bunk room ( sleeping 2 adults or 2 children), a good sized family bathroom including separate shower, bath, wash basin and toilet. Patio doors leading out to the large sized decking overlooking the fron garden area - ideal for lazy warm summer nights.

Upstairs comprises of 1 x super king sizes family bedroom (sleeping 2 people in the super king size bed, 1 junior and 2 kids on a sofa bed), a bathroom with wash basin, toilet and corner shower unit, a very spacious lounge / relaxing area with flat screen TV, Patio doors leading out to the upstairs balcony overlooking the site.

This privately owned home is has a large decking area with outside tables and chairs, there is parking for 4 cars and has it's own garden/lawn area. Sorry, no pets are allowed and smoking is not permitted. Please note there is no public transport to the site therefore a car is essential.

Our rates do not include access or usage of all of the on site facilities. But you can pay as you go and facilties include;

Children's Playground, indoor pool, gymnasium, bar and restaurant, spa facilities and Flow Rider, kids club. There is a Wake Park too with inflatables on from Easter to after October half term ( usually) - which is great fun for the kids. Also there is Paddle boarding, Zorbing and a boarding zip wire too! Brilliant fun for all the family.

Enderley Lodge is situated on this quiet site which makes it an ideal base for family holidays or a relaxing /romantic break with your friends or partner. Located in a fantastic area close to all of the very pretty Cornish towns including Padstow, Rock, Wadebridge and Newquay. There are beaches galore in the vicinity and it's only 10 miles from the fantastic Eden Project. There is so much to do here, you can enjoy a day out with the kids on the bikes with the Camel Trail, a hearty walk along the cliff tops, or visit the famous Port Isaac home of the popular Doc Martin TV show.... finish your day with a fabulous fresh meal at one of the many fantastic local restaurants including the popular Rick Steins in Padstow.

Getting around

Ideally you do need a car - this is a rural location and you would see so much more by bringing your car. However there are trains and Newquay airport is 15 mins away.

Interaction with guest

We have our own housekeeper who meets you at the home and is a wonderful mind of information about the local area if you need it. She also lives only 10 mins away so if you have any problems she can be there quickly to assist. For those arriving after the check in time - then we can arrange for you to get the key out of our key lock safe and let yourselves in then you are not tied to a time for arriving. All of the on site facilities are included and there is lots to do. See our website for more information.

“Lovely location and great family friendly resort”

The lodge is super spacious with plenty of space for the whole family. We had a very warm welcome by Gene who by far makes this place. She is absolutely delightful! The only negatives are that the place could do with wifi as there is no 3G connection so made it very difficult for us to access our e-mails for work. In addition the TV connection was hit and miss. There was also no washing machine which would have been useful, especially after using the pool. The oven is also temperamental and doesn't cook food properly.

Owner's reply: Hi Adele Thanks for the feedback and it was lovely having you stay with us. Just to touch base about some of the comments, we had a TV engineer in last week on the back of your comments and someone had simply unplugged the cables at the back of the TV booster box upstairs so this is all fine! Re: WIFI - when the onsite developers make it a fair and reasonable price we will definitely consider it but as it stands right now it's just too expensive. We have also checked the oven and it works perfectly - we think it may have been put on the wrong setting by yourself... but we assure you it is working properly. Regarding the washing machine vs dishwasher - this is decision made by the owners and some people prefer the dishwasher some the washing machine - we only had space for one so for this home the decision was a dishwasher.. All in all we are glad you had a good stay and we welcome you back at any time Thanks Kelly Sharman
