Description

Birch Lake Lodge is a fly-in fishing resort located in the heart of Northwestern Ontario. The facilities are located on a fish-tail point on Birch Lake, surrounded on either side by water. The amenities are modern, comfortable and homey, the fishing is fantastic and the food is delicious and unique. We offer a fishing experience that you will never forget, making you feel at home the moment you step off the plane.

Part of the adventure of coming to Birch Lake Lodge is having the opportunity to fly in a float plane. The experience alone of taking off from the water and flying over old growth forest in Northern Ontario is worth the trip.

The fishing on Birch Lake is world class, consisting of walleye, northern pike and lake trout. On any given day, guests catch between 30 - 40 fish a person. The lake itself is 35 miles long and has plenty of natural character to ensure an interesting fishing experience.

The resort consists of 5 cabins and a main lodge. Each cabin is equipped with an indoor 3-peice bathroom
(hot and cold running water), a full kitchen with all pots and pans, single beds with goose down duvets, bed linens and towels, living room and dining room.

Guests can choose to either do their own cooking in their cabins, or come to the main lodge for breakfast and dinner. The food is home-cooked gourmet, incorporating one of a kind recipes with fresh caught fish that you will find no where else. The menu is catered to our guests preferences, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and allergies.

Pricing varies depending on which type of fishing package guests choose; Housekeeping plan, Modified Americian plan or customized.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
