There are stairs rising up and down through the four storey's of this traditional townhouse but nothing to deter the reasonably fit and able bodied. Children (recommended for no younger than 8 years-ish due to the stairs, windows and layout) ) and adults (well-behaved and with clean fingers) are as warmly welcomed as spa-enthusiasts, families, hens, historians, theatre-goers, shoppers, Jane Austin fans, foodies, concert-goers, dilettantes, musicians, literary aficionados and others looking to enjoy a stylish holiday in Bath for 2 nights or more. Smoking is not allowed in the Townhouse for safety reasons but there are benches and café chairs right outside in Margaret's Buildings conducive to those with this penchant. Pets and the City of Bath don't really mix so, apologies to Fido.
