Within a few minutes walk from Ramsgate's Royal Harbour you will discover 16 Albion Hill, an uber stylish family seaside holiday home. It is so divine that there are even beautiful views of the Royal Harbour marina from the bedrooms and it's such a short easy walk to the waterfront. There is a wonderful sandy beach within a few minutes walk behind the Pavillion. In creating this holiday home, the owners have really put their stamp on every room with the use of gorgeous wallpapers combining different prints and colours to bring the rooms to life. There is the loveliest paved large courtyard garden with flint and brick walls and herbs growing in raised flowerbeds; relax in the warmth of the sun on the stripy deck chairs. In the colder months, there is a wood burning stove to curl up in front of.

There is a Chesterfield sofa which is also a sofa bed to sleep an extra 2 people. Lots of natural light floods into the open plan living space through doors that open onto the courtyard area from the dining space. The home is packed full of statement pieces of furniture including a vintage steamer trunk that is used as a coffee table in the living area and the front door comes with a port hole. There is lovely kitchen which is well-equipped.

Ramsgate is an attractive seaside town with its fine architecture including Regency terraces and crescents; in fact, it has nearly 900 listed buildings plus the UK's only Royal Harbour. Sitting at any one of the outside terraces of the eateries and bars that line Ramsgate's picturesque waterfront you will be guaranteed a lovely view out across the Marina. Ramsgate also has its own award winning beach - Main Sands beach - with safe swimming for families. Surrounded by chalk cliffs, this is the perfect playground for whiling away an afternoon building sandcastles.

Peter's Fish Factory on the seafront is a must for the old British seaside favourite fish and chips. Caboose with its homemade dishes prepared using locally sourced ingredients, tea served in pots and coffee roasted by a small independent roastery is great for brunch. Sorbettos serves great Italian ice cream or try the Harbour Chocolate Lounge under the famous Ramsgate arches with chocolate flowing on tap.

The kitchen is well equipped.

Upstairs

Double bedroom with wooden double bed. Beautiful framed bird/butterfly/leaf print wallpaper statement wall. Matching wooden drawer sets. Bedside tables with stainless steel lamps. Floorboards with runner.

Twin bedroom with wooden beds and view of harbour.

Bedroom with bunk beds. All the bedrooms have lovely textiles.

Bathroom has a beautiful claw foot bath, soft green tiled wall and trendy shower raising up and over the bath. Sink and WC.

Outside

Sunny courtyard on two levels with attractive flint and brick walls. Stylish outdoor seating including wooden bench, stripy deckchairs, pretty blue trellis with climbing plants, raised flower and herb beds.

Additional information

The parking is really easy here as you can park either in the nearby road or there is a car park which you can pay for the day for a very reasonable amount. You can also top it up from your phone so no need to keep going to the car!
