Well Cottage is a bright and surprisingly spacious, single storey one bedroom property able to sleep up to 4 guests, with the additional guests sleeping on a bed settee. Being all on one level it is particularly popular with guests who prefer not to have stairs. The triple aspect kitchen, living and dining area, all overlooking the private courtyard and garden area to the front of this lovely cottage.
The kitchen is well equipped to allow guests to be able to stay as long as they like, making this property perfect for singles, couples and small families. In the sitting room area, the bed settee converts into a double bed allowing for additional visitors.
The attractive bedroom is directly off the sitting room and has recently been panelled on two walls. The panelling has been painted a most beautiful and calming pale green, and with a very comfortable bed you should be guaranteed a relaxing nights sleep. The en suite has a shower and completes the convenience and luxury of this lovely property.
And finally the outside seating area is perfect for alfresco dining, or watching the wildlife whilst enjoying a nice drink. With guaranteed off road parking next to the cottage, it makes staying in this lovely property even more enjoyable.
And at Christmas we even decorate the cottage for you before you arrive with lovely Christmas decorations, some of them home made with lovely branches and leaves from the garden and tied with ribbon and bows, so you can enjoy that lovely Christmassy feel.
Well Cottage is centrally located on the Isle of Thanet which is surround by coast. This sunny south eastern part of the English coast, is known for its lovely sandy beaches and historic coastal villages. It's a perfect place for a relaxing sea side holiday.
Well Cottage has just been given a Gold 3 star rating from Visit Britain (Quality in Tourism 2013 - 2014).
In addition to Well Cottage, we also have another one bedroom cottage called Annie's Cottage. Both cottages are able to sleep up to 4 adults, both having a bed settee in the sitting room. The Chapel is next to Annie's Cottage and is the largest of our three properties with 3 large bedrooms and a 40 foot sitting room. The Chapel is able to sleep up to 10 adults. Why not consider hiring all three properties and having a really amazing holiday to remember, whether it a summer holiday or a Christmas or New Year holiday.
We look forward to welcoming you.

The Isle of Thanet region
The village of Manston is situated at the edge of the town of Ramsgate in Kent. It is centrally located on the Isle of Thanet which is surround by coast. This part of the Kent coast is frequently sunny and seems to have its own weather system. Known for its lovely sandy beaches and historic coastal villages, Thanet is the perfect place for a relaxing sea side holiday, or an energetic sporting one, whichever you prefer, from windsurfing and kyaking to playing on the sea in a jet ski. Or you can hire a bicycle and cycle along the 28 mile coastal path along the Thanet coastline.
It's also perfectly located for a day trip to London or France, or if you prefer to shop or explore closer to home, the historic cities of Canterbury, Dover and Folkestone are only a 30 to 45 minute drive away. And the lovely historic village of Sandwich - know for the Golf Open which is held there every 4 years, has lovely cobbled streets and pretty old fashioned shops which seem to have come out of the last century is definitely worth a visit. And the village of Wingham many parts of which date back to the 13th Century, is also worth a seeing, with its lovely old fashioned pubs, hat shops, art galleries and cafes and churches, you could spend all day there and not have seen it all. There are so many historic towns and villages only a short drive from Thanet, you will have to come back again and again to see them all.
There are lots of free events during the year in Thanet, from Dickens Week in July and Folk Week in August both in Broadstairs, to international volley ball tournaments on the beach at Margate, just to mention a few. You can see exactly what's going on locally when you go to the Visit Thanet website. And for something quite spectacular you can even watch the Red Arrows do their air display at Margate from almost anywhere in Thanet, and if you don't see them you can certainly hear them! And you can take a closer look at the planes when they park them at Manston Airport, where they frequently practice before the event. Why not come and see for yourself.

"Delightful, well equipped properties with welcoming and charming hosts."
Our extended family and friends (40 of us in all over the course of a week)! were all pleasantly surprised at the beauty of The Chapel, Annie's Cottage and Wells cottage. All three cottages were more than well equpped, there was nothing we had to bring with us. Our host and her family were incredibly thoughtful, in helping us prepare before we arrived, and during our stay. They were kind, helpful and very knowledgable about the surrounding area and it's history. They even loaned us the use of their BBQ! The thing we loved the best about our stay was the fact that everyone could congregate in one property for socialising, but also had their own space to retreat to. The thing we liked the least is predictably; leaving. Our young daughter has asked many times in the last two months when we can go back again. It is almost certain that we will! Our sincere thanks go to our wonderful hosts for making our stay a happy one for us all to treasure.
Thank you for such a lovely review. It was our pleasure to help, and I must say that I was very impressed at how organised you were to host 40 guests over the week. And I am really pleased that you all enjoyed staying here. I look forward to seeing you again in the future.
