The Chapel is a very large characterful 3 bedroom self contained holiday property, which can accommodate between 2 and 10 guests.This grade 2 listed building has a 13 meter lounge containing a full size American pool table, large television with free view, four comfortable sofas one of which is a bed settee, a Wii and xbox 360, all of which make it perfect for sharing.

On the first floor the lovely open plan kitchen/dining room was designed for families and entertaining. The breakfast bar and oak dining table which can seat up to 12 guests makes dining a pleasure.

The master bedroom on the first floor is extravagantly large with a high ceiling, chandelier and king size four poster bed, and just oozes romance and luxury. On the second floor the two additional double bedrooms have high ceilings, exposed beams, flint walls and windows with far reaching views. Both have super king 6 foot zip link beds. Each bedroom has its own en suite, as well as 22" tv with an inbuilt DVD player, and there are also additional portable beds and cots which can be placed in any of the bedrooms allowing for extra visitors.

Finally the private garden to the rear of The Chapel has a lovey recessed patio area, which is perfect for alfresco dining or just sitting enjoying the afternoon sunshine. There is also a hard surface play area to the front of Manston Court which is perfect for all the family to play ball games. And next to The Chapel are two one bedroom cottages (Annie's Cottage and Well Cottage which is all on one level), both are able to sleep up to 4 guests. Many guests hire all three for special occasion or a great holiday to remember.

Prices for 3 or more nights and up to 6 nights available upon request, as the longer the stay the cheaper it gets! The prices are also for up to 6 guests with an additional charge of £20 per additional guest up to a total of 10 guests.

The Chapel has again attained a Gold 4 Star rating from Quality in Tourism.

Getting around

We are located in a semi-rural area close to the coast, but on a country road, so a car is really useful. We also have a lot of private off street parking, so if you want to bring more than one car it shouldn't be a problem. From the listing you will be able to see the local train stations of which there are 3, however Ramsgate is the easiest to get to and slightly closer than the others which are located at Broadstairs and Margate. The bus route through the village only runs about once an hour, however you are able to park for free at Westwood Cross which is only 1 1/2 miles away, and the other side of Westwood Cross is the bus station which has 'the loop' and will take you all over Thanet.

We live next to The Chapel and will be there to welcome you and show you around. Although we live next door we leave you to enjoy your stay, but we are there just incase you need to ask any questions, or run out of something which you need quickly, and if we have it you are more than welcome to it. We are happy to provide you with information about the local area, and give you suggestions as to what might be suitable for your group or family whether it is eating out, or a day out. There is a lot to do in the local area whatever age you are, and it is such a great location both summer and winter, we want you to get the most out of your stay with us, so please feel free to ask.

House rules

We do appreciate that some guests do smoke. We are very happy to provide a smoking area for those guests, along with an ash tray, a seating area, and an umbrella just in case! And we thank you in advance for smoking outside.

A fabulous find. 9 of us stayed in the Chapel.. a mix of mums, dads and kids at varying stages through our week. The perfect setting for large groups... plenty of space, well equipped, steeped in history, comfortable large bedrooms and a warm and friendly welcome from the gorgeous owner, Suzanne, who was on hand from the moment we booked until the moment we left, to deal with any queries. Suzanne also gave us a comprehensive and interesting history of the buildings and surroundings. We had a truly wonderful week and will definitely return st some point in the future for another visit. Thank you Suzanne for making us so welcome and dealing with our queries

My family and I stayed in The Chapel and Well Cottage and had a wonderful time. The cottages were lovely and had everything we needed. I would like to thank Suzanne for being so hospitable. She made sure every member of my family would be comfortable, from my 1 year old niece to my elderly uncle with limited mobility. The location was fantastic too with a Tesco nearby and with the beach a very short drive away. I would highly recommend these cottages and we are definitely going to come back for another holiday.
