“Lovely place to stay”

Reviewed 4 Sep 2014

Excellent property, very clean and spacious, inside and out with a lovely countryside views. The location made it not only easy to get into Newquay and it's beaches but also to other parts of Cornwall. My only advice would be that if you want to listen to local radio in the property, take a radio with you, as Freeview doesn't cover it.

“Highly recommended”

Reviewed 6 Aug 2014

As a family of four with two young children we would highly recommend Daisy Barn and Meadow Barn as a whole. It was stunning. The views were amazing and there was asense of space and privacy. It was wonderful not to have anyone walk or drive past your accommodation once. On our arrival the barn was extremely clean and inviting. There were fresh flowers, milk, scones and tea/coffee. The barn was spacious and homely. The children loved the playground and fields surrounding the property. My little boy played football and flew his kite. The bbq was a welcomed addition allowing us to relax and not always worry about dining out. Throughout our holiday we recommended Meadow Barn to everyone we met and if we have the chance of a holiday next year we will most definitely be returning to meadow barn. We met the owners on the last day and they were very friendly, helpful and keen to please. The holiday was extremely good value considering the time of year we visited and the high quality of the property etc.

“Beautiful! Lovely and relaxing.”

Reviewed 20 Jun 2014

I stayed at Daisy Barn for 3 nights with my partner and our 10month old baby. It was perfect. The location is fantastic, in the countryside just a few minutes from Newquay. The barn is finished to an excellent standard. It is very spacious. The bedrooms are large and each have an en-suite. The view from the living room and terrace is lovely. Our baby loved the little playground area. It was a lovely peaceful and relaxing stay. It was nice watching the rabbits in the garden in the mornings. We would definitely stay here again.

“Excellent location”

Reviewed 1 Aug 2013

Value for money was had on this holiday trip. Location of site was excellent. Plenty of space and excellent views. The only downside was the bed in the master bedroom, a bit small and mattress not comfortable, could have been an kingsize with a more harder mattress. Overall a nice place to stay when the weather is nice. Hope to book again next year. Ps The lack of internet access was a downside too.

“High quality accomodation in perfect location”

Reviewed 15 Apr 2013

Daisy Barn is one of three identical units within a barn conversion. The accomodation is of a high quality, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The barn is situated in a private location within it's own grounds with sweeping views over the surrounding countryside. Newquay is about 10 minutes drive providing easy access to grocery stores. There is also a small general store in Quintrell Downs which is only a couple of minutes drive.

“Lovely View from the sofa!”

Lovely decor throughout, spotlessly clean, a great base for Cornwall's many attractions. The view across the meadow was lovely to wash up too!

“Excellent stay for our last minute booking.”

Reviewed 27 Sep 2012

Only negative I have, the directions were slightly confusing to the barn. Booked the barn on the day we decided to go, not really a good idea! What a great result, the barn looked great as soon as we pulled up outside. It was the middle of three lets, had outside patio with barby, two bedrooms with en-suite. Living room, kitchen and dining all in one (Tv with ipod connection!) Great country views from the patio, but only 10 mins from Newquay. Complimentary tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. Lots of information provided on places to go and ammenities.
