“Ultra modern very simple well equipped flat in brilliant location near the heart of Edinburgh with parking on-site and f”
The flat is very modern with a "minimalist" feel to it, but well equipped with very good quality appliances and comfortable furnishings. It was warm and cosy in the evenings but bright during the day with floor to ceiling windows in the lounge and bedroom, although to be clear the latter has opaque glass for privacy. The lift takes you to the ground floor or underground car park - rare convenience in the centre of Edinburgh! In the next block there is a Sainsburys open late along with Starbucks or if you prefer an independent coffee shop come book shop - didn't have time, but that looked really nice :-) Turn right and you're in The Meadows, turn left and within 5 minutes you're on Lauriston Place by Bristol Square - ideal for Edinburgh Uni. Overall a lovely flat in a very good location. A very minor downside was the loading/unloading early in the morning as Sainsburys had its daily deliveries, making quite a bit if noise opposite the bedroom window. Not great if you're a light sleeper or go to bed late! Probably would not put us off returning though.
“Lovely, modern apartment conveniently situated near the city centre”
We spent a long weekend at the apartment and were impressed by how clean, well equipped and beautifully decorated it was. The owner was extremely helpful and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. The apartment is 10 minutes walk from the Castle and the Royal Mile and there is a nice park practically on the doorstep. Although we ate out quite a bit, the Sainsbury's Local store located just round the corner was very convenient. We'd thoroughly recommend a stay in this apartment.
We had the good fortune to choose Quartermile Luxury Apartment, and indeed it was! First and foremost, Eddie Harper (who owns the flat) was extremely accommodating and helpful! He provided lots of information regarding Edinburgh, maps of the apartment's location, and met us in person at the carpark. The apartment was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. It was thoughtfully designed, with the all the amenities one could ask for, including wifi, washer/dryer (that really works), all cooking needs, and a shower - that we have rated the best in all Great Britian! It is in wonderful location, close to all - within walking distance of all major sites and shopping. We loved looking out the windows towards the old hospital and watching the antics of the birds in the trees, we felt as if we were in a treehouse. We would definitely want to stay here again on next trip to Edinburgh, a city that we found enchanting.
“Best equipped rental apartment I have ever stayed in.”
Delighted with the accommodation, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The comfort of the tenants was the main priority. The situation of the apartment was ideal, just a few minutes walk to the Museum of Scotland and very close to Edinburgh Castle and the main tourist attractions. We will certainly be returning.
“Perfect apartment in a beautiful city.”
We were really impressed with the accommodation. The apartment was modern, clean and stocked with essentials. It was easy to find in a central location, so we were able to walk everywhere and enjoy the christmassy atmosphere. A folder featuring lists of local restaurants, bars and clubs came in very handy and was a nice touch. We would definitely recommend this apartment to anybody wanting to visit Edinburgh, we had a fantastic holiday. Thank you!
“Great modern apartment”
Stayed from Friday 28th Oct - Sunday 30th Oct. Found the property to be a very good standard, great central location and Eddie was very plesent too. Have since given a good verbal account to freinds and family since arriving home. Will use Eddie again the next time we're down.

We have a wonderful stay at the apartments, it was a convenient location, new apartment, clean and comfortable. Eddie was great to deal with and we have an enjoyable time. We would definitely visit again when we next come to Edinburgh!
“Brilliant Base in Edinburgh”
We recently stayed at the Quartermile Apartment owned by Eddie Harper. It is brilliant both for location in the city and all facilities. There are coffee shops and a small supermarket within a minutes walk. The 'royal mile' and a lot of restaurants are only a couple of streets away. The apartment itself is brand new, with great security and everything you could ask for included - plus a few extras, such as complimentary internet access. I would recommend this apartment to anybody wanting to stay in Edinburgh close to the action. By the way, Eddie is a great bloke to deal with as well - bonus!!
“Excellent location for the Edinburgh Festival”
We really enjoyed having a flat on the Meadows, within easy walking of the main Festival Fringe venues and central Edinburgh. It was very fresh, new, well looked after. A little expensive, but all properties are dear at this time. Very convenient for a Sainsburies, Starbucks and lovely deli/coffee shop, Peter's Yard, but a little noisy in the mornings restockling those!
“Great Apartment, Great Location, Great Price”
We stayed at this apartment for a few nights and found it to be in a ideal location for visiting Edinburgh. It had everything we needed and was lovely, clean and modern. We will definitely stay again and would recommend this apartment to anyone.
