The Gwynedd region
North Wales has a diverse range of tourism attractions suitable for the whole family. It is famous for its many castles, but it is also home to several National Trust stately homes. The Great Little Trains of Wales provide a great day out for the whole family with the nostalgic aroma of steam. You can continue on the heritage theme by exploring the life of a Victorian Miner and visit a slate or copper mine, or come right up to date by exploring attractions with green issues at their heart, or visit a power station.
Eating out in Criccieth is an absolute pleasure. We have traditional tea rooms, gourmet restaurants, cafes, bar meals, ethnic dining, takeaways, in fact if you want it we have probably got it.
Stroll along the promenade with fish and chips or dine on gourmet food in fine surroundings, take an afternoon tea in the sunshine or sample the local seafood, the choice is yours and there is plenty of choice.
As well as the usual shops you would expect in a town of this size Criccieth also has an interesting selection of shops offering a unique shopping experience. Once you have had enough sightseeing or sunbathing then take a walk along our High Street with its amazing floral displays and while away some time browsing for gifts to take home, or for something special to remind you of your time in Criccieth.

"Perfect for the whole family"
My wife, two grandchildren and I stayed here for a week and couldn't have been more pleased with the whole experience from accommodation to site facilities and entertainment. The lodge was fantastic, immaculate and full of all creature comforts. It was like home from home. The site was also not a disappointment we never struggled to find something to do and the whole place was clean and tidy. We'd highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a family holiday with children young or old. We can't wait to get booked for next year
Many thanks for your excellent feedback, we do make every effort to ensure that our guests have an enjoyable and memorable experience :-)

"Outstanding - Great value for money"
We stayed at this log cabin for the May bank holiday having chose it following a recommendation from friends who stayed there in 2011. We found the cabin to be excellent value for money, well equipped and the fixtures and fittings were of a high quality standard. This cabin put neighbouring properties in the shade! We were especially pleased with the numerous collection of toys and games provided for children of all ages, this cabin was clearly very family orientated, the owners have thought of everything and they have gone to great lengths to go the extra mile. Many thanks to Linda and John for a fabulous holiday, we'll be back!!
Thank you so much for the lovely card and best wishes, it means so much to us that our customers have a fabulous time and do want to come back year after year. We have gone to great lengths to provide a high quality of fixtures and fittings rather than the basics which many others provide as standard. In 2014 we aim to further develop the log cabin subsequently look out for what's new in 2014!

"Blissful retreat, owner has thought of everything!!"
169 Snowdonia view has been the most comfortable and homely retreat for our family holiday. The accommodation is spacious, with homely touches and provides everything for practical needs. There is a shed full of toys for the kids and the scooters and skateboards were a hit with my 9 and 10 year old daughters. The haven site is incredible with 3 showbars, super play areas and pool and a Starbucks!! You will not be disappointed if you choose to book this log cabin, highly recommended.
Thank you for your lovely feedback, it was a pleasure accommodating your lovely family who clearly respected our holiday home and left the lodge squeaky clean :-))
