This advert is for the FIRST FLOOR TWIN ROOM WITH USE OF A PRIVATE BATHROOM. If you wish to book both first floor rooms this bathroom will be shared. This room also has a sofa bed which could be used for a third person

The property is an old farmhouse built in 1800 and entirely renovated in a beautiful rural and quiet setting.

There are three bedrooms in the old part of the farmhouse that are used for our guests

The property has a large open garden of approximately two acres surrounded by fields with distant views of the Pyrenees that can be seen on a clear day, guests are welcome to walk or sit in the garden.

Guests are welcome use the unheated swimming pool from mid June until mid September

Even though we are in a very rural setting we are connected to the internet and WiFi

A continental breakfast can be taken between 08.00 and 10.00 and can be served outside, weather permitting.

The owners are English and have two Golden Retrievers.

We have a nonsmoking establishment. The smoking zone is in the garden.

There is a barbecue available for your use (charcoal not included).

A washing machine and tumble dryer can be made available at extra cost.

Closer to home are-REVEL 20mins, Saturday market, and many restaurantsLAC FERRIOL 30 mins, one of the sources of the Canal du Midi with museum and gardens, the large lake is good for, FISHING, SWIMMING, WALKING, CYCLING, SUNBATHING, PEDELOS and HOBBYCATSCastres 30mins, shopping, Riverboat rides, Sports centre

During the summer there are fetes, with food and entertainment, in the small villages which take place on Saturday evenings within a short drive from La Mire.There is a leisure complex and lake about 15mins drive with canoes, peddelos etc. to hire at SoualCri Tarzan for those wishing for tree swinging excitement and Quad biking both about 20 mins drive
