A luxurious fully appointed 3 bed/ 3.5 bath house with living room, full kitchen, and dining area.

Perfect for a family or group of friends who want a comfortable yet modern and elegant place to enjoy their time on one of Central America's most exclusive beaches!

Located in the Northwestern province of Guanacaste you will awake to the sounds of Howler monkeys in the trees, see migrating whales in the ocean from the pool and witness the beautiful Scarlet Macaws as they make their way through the trees. You may witness sea turtles laying their eggs or watch hatchlings emerge from their nests or you may decide to take a hike through the tropical dry forest to do some exotic bird watching. The small luxury hotel next door offers multiple tours including dolphin watching, sunset cruises, as well as low tide river safaris - not to mention canopy zip lining, horseback riding, river and ocean kayaking as well as surfing lessons. If you're more inclined for a cultural experience the local town of Islita (also within walking distance) offers community guided tours of the women's art cooperative and the outdoor art museum. You may also request to take Tico (Costa Rican) cooking and tropical cocktail mixing lessons. Walk to the beach in 5 minutes for Sun, Surf, and Relaxation or drive just a few minutes up the road to Playa Camaronal Wildlife Reserve for exceptional surfing year round on one of the top 5 waves in the country. Public transportation in this region is very limited and not recommended. We can organize ground transportation from the main airports of Liberia and San Jose, or charter flights to the Islita airport, 10 minutes away from the property. 4WD is recommended during the rainy season for inexperienced drivers, and we can help find trustworthy rentals at a good price. Parking at our property fits up to 5 cars.

At Villa Jalapa you will have full assistance from Alvaro and Lisbeth. They live in the property and are great with guests. They will come clean the house and pool at your best convenience and Lisbeth can also help with cooking, laundry and cocktails. Diego will be available to assist you via email throughout your stay.
