Our villa is a 3700 square foot villa with three bedrooms and three bathrooms.!You will stop your search after a look at this unique property. This piece of property is one of the most sought after lots in Florida, it is called a (point) lot, sun all day and three sides of the property surrounded by water,like having you own little compound.If you cherish your privacy while dining on the lanai , watching the sunsets, or swimming and not being overlooked by other homes, you will love Tranquility Villa. The average row canal home has less than 100 feet of water and Tranquility Villa encompasses 240 feet so privacy is guaranteed because of its size and location and is not surrounded by other homes. Google Earth shows the size of the property and you can see what is meant by a point lot and the difference it can make when it comes to privacy.

Marine life, dolphins, manatees entertain our visitors right in front of our seawall.Spacious open floor plan surrounds the kitchen with granite counter tops and new appliances and in house wireless computer with high speed internet office capabilities, no need to bring your own.

.The direction of the sun is so important for that warm swim and we have sun all day because of the way this villa is positioned. This prestigious community is deed restrictive and all homes are pristine . This is not your average canal row home, it has triple the rear property and has expansive grounds with plush landscaping and will please even the most discerning vacationer or honeymooner . This villa has it all!

Safe for your valuables and many other conveniences.Master Suite has private Heated jacuzzi bath and shower. Master Bedroom has over sized king pillowt op mattress with the finest linens. TV and DVD, and CD in bedroom as well. Private balcony for the Master suite that overlooks the water. Queen bedroom as oversized mattress, TV as well. All bedrooms have cable TV. One full bathroom between the two guest bedrooms and one half bathroom off the living roomBeautiful bright bedrooms with water view at every angle. House has two zoned air-conditioning so bedrooms stay as cool as you would like. Plenty of windows with water view from all. Home has a screened in lanai with large HEATED pool and spa. This is a large tip lot property which allows privacy abound. A great honeymoon spot. Sorry no pets allowed

Pool is completely private and you are not overlooked by another propertyYou cannot beat the privacy of a point lot. The grounds allow for total peace and quiet and are expansive and well grommed.. Pool is electric and solar heated normal temperature of pool is 84 degrees sun all day with this south west exposure. Lanai is oversized with plenty of seating and room to spare for outside dining. Hammock and seating arrangements right at the sea .There is an inside and outside Jacuzzi as well. Large 40 ft book dock to fish off of or rent a boat.Other outdoor facilities include garage, 8 garden chairs, beach chairs. Bikes available and fishing equipment, 40 ft dock to fish off and 240ft of water allows you plenty of room to watch for all MARINE LIFE ACTIVITY because of the large open basin harbour, this is a child's delight and adults' too! Fishing poles and fishing gear available.See picture of our largest fish a visitor caught off our dock.

“recommendation is not enough”

We chose this villa for 2 weeks or rest and relaxation. We got that in spades.The villa is fantastic, with all you will need for a holiday / break that you will need and more besides. It is a beautiful home in an equally beautiful area. If you want banging nightlife forget punta gorda. (I am sure that Punta Gorda won't want you either.) Carol & John are attentive and very friendly hosts, calling occasionally to check that everything was in order but without being intrusive. Words cannot give any impression of the initial wow factor. only to repeat that it has all you need. (We always take loads with us to ensure we are covered and needed none of it). Next time (and there will be a next time) we will take just a few clothes. Punta Gorda is a very pleasant city with a few gems thrown in. Look during the day and all you see is fistory and lovely homes, but in the evening there is so much more. We loved fishermans village, especially Harpoon Harry's. For a more up market meal the Captains table is great. Shopping in Port Charlotte is great. The main reason for our returning in the future though is the wonderful villa. Home from home? NO. It was better than being at home as you would want for a break. No ammount of words can show the value of staying here. Only a visit would suffice and we intend to visit with some different people next time and others in our party intend to do the same as it is a holiday we all want to share. A special thank you to Carol and John for letting us share your beautiful home.

The vila is very well located and certainly is tranquil. We loved the peace and quiet and the extensive views from the pool deck. The pool area was great - and a comfortable place to kick back and watch the sunset at the end the day. The house was very well furnished and equipped - we wanted for nothing. We loved the proximity to Punta gorda - and used the two bicycles to cycle over to Fishernman's villlage and along the water's edge. We would certainly recommend highly this property. The owner was bery helpful and took care to make contact to check that all was in order. A very professional yet friendly service.

My husband and I and our two college-age children thoroughly enjoyed our 10-day stay in this beautifully-appointed home, called "Tranquility Villa." It is surrounded by canals on three sides and has its own pool. The owners went out of their way to assure that the home was in top-notch condition and provided us with lots of ideas for eating out, shopping and exploring tourist attractions. Highlights included: dinner at Table 209, sailing in Charlotte Harbor, hiking on barrier islands (especially Boca Grande at Gasparilla State Park), excursion to Sarasota (Ringling complex is world-class), and trip to Sanibel/Captiva (don't miss naturalist tour of Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge). Punta Gorda itself is a quiet town with fascinating history and new facilities built since Hurricane Charley struck. In sum, a tranquil home in a tranquil town that enabled us both to relax and to find new treasures between Tampa and Fort Myers.

“Peace & tranquility”

This was our third stay at Tranqulity Villa. It is quiet & peaceful with sometimes just the noise of the fish jumping in the canal. The actual villa is very well equipped and has a superb view of the canal. There is wildlife to see and there is plenty to do in the surrounding area. Punta Gorda itself has a "village" atmosphere. We enjoy the villa and area so much we are visiting for the fourth time in September 2012.

We stayed in Tranquilty Villa for one week in July and found the whole experience of Florida enhanced by our stay at the Villa....the communication we received from the owners was first class during the booking process, before we arrived and initially upon our arrival, which gave us confidence that if we did have any issues , which we didn't, then felt that these would have been resolved during our stay, If relaxation is what you require then this is the place for you, if being entertained is your requirement then stick with Orlando... it was so nice to be able to come back after a days adventures and feel relaxed in what only can be described as a 'home from home' feeling and the use of the computer kept the younger folks happy with their social networking. Fond memories were developed !!!
