The Bathroom has a walk in shower and a Utility area attached with Washing Machine etc.
There is off street parking and bikes can be stored in lock-up garage next to the house.
From the Barn, you can amble down to the river front to enjoy a wonderful walk by the river, walk to Reil, Zell or enjoy a bicycle ride along the well maintained cycle paths, take children to the enclosed playground area, catch a boat to Bernkastle or Zell or simply sit at one of the Cafes and enjoy Café und Kuchen (Coffee and Cake) or the Punderich Vintners locally produced wines.
The Village is full of quaint cobbled streets and half-timbered houses which during the summer months are normally adorned with bright red geraniums overflowing many window boxes and making the village a Photographer's delight.
The village has several restaurants, café/bars and a local Bakery and Butchers and all local Vintners will, like everywhere in the Mosel Valley, offer wine sampling and often local cuisines.
Located near to Punderich (approximately 10 minutes by car) is the area known as Zell Barl. This is where the hospital is located together with Pharmacies, Dentists, Shops, Supermarkets (Globus, Lidel & Aldi) etc., are all located. The town of Zell itself is quite lively with many cafes, bars, ice-cream shops and tourist shops and pleasant for an afternoon amble.
Punderich is ideally located for exploring and enjoying all that the Mosel Valley has to offer. Driving in any direction following the river, one can come across villages to explore. Some larger towns such as Traben-Trabach, Bernkastle and Cochem are well known and within a short distance and the village of Bully has a Railway Station with very quick and inexpensive train routes to the wonderful cities of Koblenz and Trier and of course further if you so wish, to Bonn & Koln.
A holiday in the Mosel can be as relaxing or as exciting as you wish, with many historical Roman sites and Museums, Castles, Fun Parks, Animal parks, Volcano area, Spa Towns, Indoor and Outdoor Swimming Pools, Tree Top climbing, Hand-gliding, Balloon rides, Canoeing not to mention all the Wine Festivals, Street Festivals and Carnivals……. You will really be amazed how much there is to do in this beautiful part of the world.
