Duplex with shared pool, ocean views and direct access to the Sea. The complex Punta Negra is a very calm complex located at Playa la Arena, situated only 100 meters from Playa La Arena Beach. Shops, supermarket, bars, restaurants and cafes can be reached in less than 2 minutes.

It is a charming duplex with 2 bedrooms which has been completely renovated in June 2016. Big living room with dining area and a new open kitchen. On this floor you have a separate toilet. There is a small balcony and a big terrace with sunbeds. Downstairs you have 2 bedrooms and the bathroom. SAT TV (german and spanish channels) is provided. Wifi is available for 8 € per week. It is well equipped with everything you expect from a self catering house. As this duplex is situated just at the corner, the balcony and the terrace offer excellent views of the pool and the sea.

From the pool you have a fantastic view over the Sea. Enough sunbeds are provided. From here you also have direct access to the Sea with a ladder to go in and off the water.The area is better suited for couples and families with young children.

Nearby there is lovely Marina bay from where you can organise your Dolphins or whale in the Sea Tours, Jet ski Safari, Pirate ship excursions and all other attractions like Mount Teide and it is simply the perfect Holiday spot for either Couples or Family with young children.Los Gigantes is located on the south west coast of Tenerife and is only a short distance from another two holiday resorts Puerto de Santiago and Playa de la Arena. Situated in the municipality of Santiago del Teide, Los Gigantes can be found just south of the famous "Acantilados de Los Gigantes" , and about 30 kilometres from Playa de Las Americas and Los Cristianos. It is generally acknowledged that the year-round climate in this region is among the best in the World.Los Gigantes, Puerto de Santiago and Playa de la Arena are small quiet villages . However there are still many places that have live music tribute acts etc. Whatever your tastes, you can be sure that you´ll find something to suit your needs.The village of Los Gigantes is situated at the foot of the 500 metre high cliffs which gives it its name. The cliffs also mark the southern boundary of the beautiful Teno mountains. The cliffs are visible in all their glory from the Archipenque Mirador viewing point, just above the village. They can be experienced from the sea up close, where they loom over you, and you are able to distinguish the different colours and textures of the volcanic rock.Further south, and almost joined on to Puerto Santiago, is the growing resort of Playa de la Arena. (Sandy Beach). Unimaginatively named, it does boast the best beach in the region. It has been awarded the European blue flag of excellence for many years in succession. Although small, it can confidently stand comparison with any other beach of similar size on the island. This is especially true when you consider that while many of Tenerife´s popular beaches are man-made using imported sand, from the Sahara desert, the beach here is natural. Its black sand is a constant reminder of the island´s powerful volcanic origins. The beach is situated centrally along the main coastal thoroughfare, the Avenida Maritima, which has relatively easy free parking. If you get hungry or develop a thirst you will find yourself spoilt for choice by the many bars, restaurants and shops adjacent to and opposite the beach.For a relatively small resort, Playa de la Arena boasts a large selection of bars and restaurants, although ´nightlife´ in the sense of clubs and discos, while it undoubtedly exists, is on a much smaller scale than the larger resorts in the south.The Tourist Information office here has staff who speak English. They are very helpful and can give you on-the-spot information, plus there is always a multitude of leaflets and pamphlets freely available, which will give you, further facts and figures about the region. Santiago del Teide council office is next to the tourist office.

Dear Peter, thanks for your comments, we are happy that you enjoyed your stay. You have been great guests. It is not only calm in July. We only rent 3 Duplex, all others are longterm rentals or owners that only spend a few weeks per year at them. So it is calm all year round. The access to the sea is suitable for adults or older kids. But the beach can be reached in 5 minutes walking distance. As you said, we have the best location, just in front of the sea. The price might be different than an apartment up the hill. But still, 25 € per person per night isn´t that bad. We hope to see you and your family again.

Thanks a lot for your comments. It helps us to improve. I´m happy that you liked the view, the equipment and location. I also want to give an answer to the negative points: We always have single beds because some people prefer to separate beds. If you want a double you can just put them together. 2 mattresses are 15 month old and the other 3 years. So they aren´t old. It always depends on what mattresses you have at home. For the apartments we always buy quality ones. But I guess that at home you would buy another quality. We have high quality ones in the houses we rent for 300 € per night. Here we have standard quality. Anyway, we will buy 2 new ones. On Tenerife we still don´t have optical fibre everywhere. But the internet is enough for mails, whatsapp, social media. It gets slower if you want to watch a film or download heavy things. As soon as we have the option of optical fibre in this area we will offer it. A heater of 30 L at a very high temperature means that you have around 90 L at shower temperature. Usually this is enough. It will always depends on the time you spend under the shower. At home we have 60 L and have no problems with 4 people (being my son the last one. If he is the first and is 30 minutes under the shower we also would have problems). As you mentioned, the house is very clean. We also clean outside. But if you have one hour of wind with dust or sand it will get dirty again. Before your arrival we had "calima". Warm wind from Sahara with sand. This is not in our hand. It isn´t always posible to clean 30 minutes before the arrival of the guest.

How do damage deposits work?
