Puerto Rico tends to have the best weather on the island and generally you have all year round sunshine. If you wish to move from the comfort of your balcony then you have a very short walk to the wonderful swimming pool that also has a children's pool.

The Canary Islands region
Gran Canaria is the third largest Island out of the eight Islands. Most people believe there are seven forgetting La Graciosa.
Gran Canaria lies just 210 km off the coast of Africa and 1250 km from mainland Spain.
Gran Canaria is a volcanic Island although now there is no more volcanic action. It is well known as Spain’s miniature continent with its diverse landscapes and excellent climate. Gran Canaria is a combination of old towns, quaint fishing villages, bustling seaside resorts and its traditional yet cosmopolitan city, the capital being Las Palmas.
The Islands main source of revenue is tourism but fishing and farming of fruit and vegetables are also a main trade.
For holiday makers looking for nightlife, tradition, history, places to explore or simply a sunny retreat then Gran Canaria has so much to offer.
Puerto Rico Resort
Puerto Rico tends to be one of the most sunniest resorts on the island and does have all year round sunny weather.
It is set in a valley with accommodation built on either side and the central commercial centre in the middle of the base of the valley.
Puerto Rico is easy to get in and out of with regular bus services going to all locations on the island including the airport. The taxi service in resort is very reasonably priced and helps getting from top to bottom or vice versa.
The beach in Puerto Rico has golden sand and is located next to the marina and harbour where you can book daily trips to other parts of the island, a fishing trip or just to have a drink at one the restaurants and bars down there.
A short stroll from Puerto Rico beach you will find the stunning Amadores beach that hosts a wide array of bars and restaurants all with the back drop of the most beautiful beach.
At Amadores beach you can choose to take part in a huge selection of water sports including jet skis and paragliding.
You will realise upon arrival to Puerto Rico that you will never be bored as their is always something to do. Tennis courts, golf courses, mini golf, parks, waterparks and much more.
The commercial centre can be a lively place at night with an abundance of bars and restaurant, clubs and shows that keep all the family entertained.

"Fabulour apartment - just what we wanted"
Fabulous apartment - clean, comfortable and fully equipped. This apartment was everything we needed for a lovely break in the sunshine. There is a massive tv in the lounge with hundreds of films on file, plus english channels, and a comfy sofa, plus another tv in the bedroom. The balcony has sun all afternoon and there are sun loungers and seating for dining al fresco, or that chilled bottle of wine! The complex has a swimming pool with bar, and the local bars, shops and restaurants are just a short walk. The harbour and beach are about a 10 minute walk, where there are some lovely restaurants, and speciality fish restaurants. The tea/coffee sachets were very welcome after our journey. Thankyou for letting us use this lovely apartment - we will be back again soon. Carol and Mark

Having just returned from Puerto Rico (our 15th?) visit, we can honestly say this is one of the nicest apartments we have stayed at. Everything was provided that you would need for self catering although we always eat out. View from the balcony was fabulous, table, chairs and reclining loungers. The English tv channels and 1000 movies were a godsend as we were unlucky enough to book a week of the worst weather we have ever seen in Puerto Rico. Puerto Felliz is and older establishment, very well maintained and part privately owned so best of both worlds with the facilities, pool bar, shop etc which were great. Obviously the elevated position means lots of steps but we didnt find it a problem, easy walk down and 2.25Euro in a cab back from the bottom if we didnt feel like walking. We thoroughly enjoyed our week regardless of the weather we still managed to do most things, and would certainly book the apartment again. Thank You Tina and family.
