'Atlas' is a modern and luxuriously appointed apartment with travertine marble floors and bathrooms, full air conditioning throughout with elegant and comfortable furnishings. It is on the first floor with a fabulous, huge south facing terrace (50 sq mts) that overlooks the beautiful gardens and swimming pool. The terrace has sun loungers, dining table and chairs for al-fresco meals, and a separate sofa seating area. There are 3 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a 28 x 15 ft sitting/dining room. Total floor space 187 sq mts.

The master bedroom has a 6 ft double and ensuite bathroom. The guest bedroom a 5 ft double and the family bedroom a 5 ft double, a single bed and full size pull out single bed. Both the master and guest bedrooms have wall to wall patio doors leading out onto the huge sun terrace.

It is equipped as our family home - not just a 'holiday rental' - with goose down duvets, Egyptian cotton bedlinen, lots of toys, books, dvd's etc

The Pine Walk is 200 metres away and the resort centre is a 600 m walk along the stunning seafront. There is a little supermarket on the estate that has all the basics including a wonderful bakery providing fresh bread and croissants for breakfast.

The nearby 4 star Illyador Hotel (200 metres) has a tennis court and Health/Beauty spa open to non residents.

Mallorca is a beautiful island with a great climate - hot summers and mild winters. The tramuntana Mountains run the full length of the rugged Northern Coastline and providing both a stunning backdrop and wonderful wildlife.

Puerto Pollensa, in the north eastern corner of the island is nestled in the foothills of the mountains on the edge of a large sandy bay. It is only a 50 minute drive from Palma de Mallorca International airport.

Port de Pollenca

Puerto Pollensa is not too large and built up and offers a perfect location for family, beach, water sports, walking and cycling holidays.

The famous Pine Walk runs from the west of the resort into the Centre (about 600 metres in total) and has lots of small sandy beaches Our apartment is just behind the Pine Walk on the western end and in easy walking distance of the centre which has many local bars and restaurants in a largely pedestrian area right on the seafront so you can eat and drink in sight of children playing on the beach. Just inland is the old town of Pollensa with a beautiful church and town square and a network of tiny back streets with lots of local colour and culture.

“Excellent apartment in great location”

We have stayed in this apartment a few times and were there for 3 weeks this summer. The apartment is very clean and homely and is in a great location. It's a few minutes walk to a few small beaches and an excellent supermarket is at the entrance to the estate. The owner Ruth is excellent to deal with and she, or the local property management company, always resolve any issues quickly and efficiently. The balcony is huge so there's plenty space to relax, dine and sunbathe. The BBQ is very useful to have too. The pool area is just lovely and usually very tranquil. Lots of excellent restaurants are within a pleasant 20 minute walk or we use Lorenzo, the taxi driver Ruth recommended, to go a bit further afield. He is very friendly and reliable.

“First Class Apartment”

My wife and I have just returned from a superb three week holiday in the Atlas Apartment. We have been very regular visitors to Puerto Pollensa since 1987, we have stayed in many hotels, apartments and villas over the years but this was our first in Bellresguard. The apartment blocks are small, a maximum of three stories high, with each two blocks sharing a large, and well maintained pool. Set in beautiful gardens it is indeed a peaceful haven to spend a relaxing holiday. The apartment size can only be described as huge, with the largest balcony we have ever seen! To say the balcony is well furnished would be a major understatement, with a dining table, sun beds, small table, chairs, settee and even a barbecue to cook lunch it is easy to spend a full day without leaving the apartment. The well stocked balcony mirrors the rest of the apartment which is full of equipment some of which we have not found elsewhere. Children will love this apartment with a large amount of toys and games to keep them occupied during their time spent here. Adults are also catered for with music, videos, books DVD player, flat screen TV and free Wi-Fi. I cannot give enough praise to the owner who responded immediately and in great detail to my emails before and during the holiday. A glitch occurred when the washing machine tripped the electrics one morning, a call to the agents was followed by an email from the owner, she had instructed the agents to organise an immediate repair or if not possible a replacement machine....new machine installed within 48 hours. We have already asked for prices for 2014 to find others of the same mind with several provisional bookings already in the pipeline.
