No 7 Hibiscus is located in a quiet area of Puerto Pollensa but also close to a supermarket and the beach which is a level 8 minute walk. The apartment is in a block of 10 apartments, some residential and some for holidays, this means that the block is lived in all year and well maintained. No 7 is a duplex i.e there are stairs up to the 2 bedrooms and bathroom. Each bedroom has a balcony with fantastic mountain views and air conditioning, the main bedroom has a King size bed. The second bedroom is quite small but enough room for 2 single beds, there is a built in wardrobe, bedside tables and leads directly onto the balcony. Ideal for a young familiy but is available for occupancy of 2 or 3 also.The lower floor has a large lounge, air con and an american style kitchen, there is also a WC on this level. There are steps up to the apartment so is probably not suited to those with difficulties climbing stairs.The apartment was completely refurbished and furnished new last year with a

Puerto Pollensa is an up market resort with none of the boisterous behaviour found in the south of the island, it is ideal for families who want a relaxing holiday in a beautiful resort. That said there are many beach activities available and the area is of particular interest for those who enjoy exploring either by foot or bicycle and indeed by car if you want to see this fantastic island.

North Mallorca is a beautiful area wihich is of particular interest to walkers and bird spotters in the migration season. It is also perfect for those who want to have a beach holiday in a resort that has all the facilities yoiu would need particuraly for children as the beach is safe. It is within a reasonably short drive to Soller and the monestry at Lluc . Also nearly is the protected are of Albufeira which is a nature reserve. Alcudia is a picturesque fortified town with interesting shops and views. The climate in Mallorca is as you would expect, hot in the summer and warm even in the winter months. Mallorca does get its fair share of rain but in the predictable months of late Nov, Dec, Jan and early Feb.
Port de Pollenca
Siller is a quiet residential area of Puerto Pollensa but still has many holiday properties, thankfully there are no bars in Siller. The main town is a few minutes from the apartment and the centre has a profusion of Restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets. The are many beach activities nearby and ferry trips around the bay and to Formentor. The most important aspect is the laid back atmosphere and the distinct lack of loud music and revellry that sometimes accompanies that.

“2nd Visit ~ Still Perfect”
We stayed here recently for the second time, another fabulous two weeks. There is everything you need in this home from home. We used the pool a few times and had it to ourselves each time. The owner is very helpful and responsive to emails and the location is perfect for all Puerto Pollensa has to offer. We will definitely book a third visit.
“Perfect for us”
Have just returned from a two week stay in Number 7 Hibiscus. From the outset, Alan was reassuring and helpful. It's always a challenge finding somewhere that suits a family of 4 (two boys aged 10 and 12) and Alan was very patient and honest in all his explanations about where the apartment was, how best to get there, shortest routes to the beach etc. We have been to Mallorca and Puerto Pollenca before but had stayed up the Pine Walk end. The apartment is under 10 minutes from the harbour and under 10 minutes from the beach, with a large supermarket about 5 minutes walk away. It is in a quiet suburb, away from the relative hustle and bustle of the shops/restaurants etc so is unlikely to be suitable for those searching for a clubbing/party holiday - but then again, neither is Puerto Pollenca! The apartment has been recently refurbished to a good holiday rental standard - we didn't cook much but there seemed to be everything you could wish for. The cleaners came mid week to spruce up the bathrooms and change the bedding and towels - very friendly and efficient. Air conditioning in the main sitting room and bedroom works well - there is a fan in the smaller room (which is perfectly big enough for two kids - my 12 year old is the height of an average 14 year old and there were no problems) - in an ideal world, this would have aircon as well, as it does stay very warm, even with windows open and the fan on, however. The pool is nice and quiet - a few of the other apartments are holiday lets so it was mainly "tourists" using the pool but there was always a sunbed available. The pool is cleaned regularly - it is deep, triangular in shape, with one corner being slightly shallower (I'm 5 foot 4 and could just stand flat footed) so it is not perfect for none swimmers or very young children/babies, but is perfect for families with young teens. We did not hire a car on this occasion so were transported by taxi from Palma Airport. The main bus terminal is at the harbour, right next to the tourist information centre and the buses are efficient, economical and air conditioned! The harbour is also where all the boat trips leave from so you can "explore" without the need to drive!
“Wonderful apartment and owner - would highly recommended”
From the start, the owner (Alan) made everything very easy and straightforward for us. We travelled with our young daughter (10 months) and Alan provided us with excellent information, from directions from the airport, regarding the apartment, to where we may like to visit and eat etc. We made use of the bbq facilities a couple of times and watched the sunset... The apartment itself was newly renovated and really was "home from home". The location was perfect for us - very close to the beach and centre (less than 10 mins walk) and close to a big supermarket. It's situatued in a quiet area, away from the nice hustle and bustle of Puerto Pollensa. Parking on the street was fine. If you're not travelling with small children - Resort hopper can drop you off pretty close by. The pool was always quiet but was ideally for adults and older children - it's pretty deep. But, depending on how cheeky you are feeling, there are hotels nearby with pools - and if you buy lunch etc there they seemed fine with us using their facilities when we wanted to. The beach was so close though and the sea was warmer than the pools..... Quick note - for young children: we were able to hire a highchair and travel cot through the agent that looks after the apt (Alan arranged all of this). The second bedroom doesn't have air con - but our daugther didn't mind, she loved it in fact and slept through every night (which she hasn't since we got back!). You can open the french doors and leave the shutters closed if you wanted though. We would highly recommend and have told friends and family. Puerto Pollensa is a lovely place for families and we had a wonderful time. Many Thanks Alan.
