We rented the apartment for many years and then bought it some ten years ago. Since then we have upgraded the kitchen, bath and shower rooms. The large sunny south facing terrace, which has just been retiled, is well equipped with a BBQ, tables, chairs recliners and sunbeds.
Next door but one is the Laguna Bar and Restaurant which has just had a massive make over.with a tennis court, an excellent swimming pool, sun loungers and WiFi, all of which are free to customers buying no more than a coffee or mineral water. Poolside tables are provided for diners.
The apartment has restaurants and super markets close by and is just a short stroll to the port, further restaurants, the main shopping area.
Nearby, is the Boquer valley, a favourite with twitchers for the extensive variety of wild birds.
Please note we only take weekly bookings.

The Balearic Islands region
Mallorca has an excellent climate. Whilst the months can vary, the winter can be chilly but is often sunny and warm. Spring and autumn are uusually around 23 degrees whilst summer can be 28 degrees or more.
Holiday makers can enjoy relaxed holidays or take part in a wide range of activities including swimming, wind surfing, sailing, cycling, mountain climbing abd rambles of varying distances through astonishing terrain.
The island has considerable history and there are many interesting villages, ancient and religious buildings.
Menestralia near Campanet has a glass blowing factory and shop with a leather super store next door. Also there is a self service restaurant proving hot and cold foods, deserts and drinks. in the as much as you can eat variety for a fixed price. Surprisingly it is all excellent.
Palma the capital has much to commend it. The cathedral is well worth a visit as is the old arab quarter.
Puerto Pollenca, in the north west of the island, has been described as the jewel of Mallorca. The port served Pollenca itself, located inland, to provide some protection from pirates who were rampant in the 15th and 16th century. It later became a fishing port. In 1628 the old fort just above the village was established to provide protection from the marauders. This is in the process of being re-developed as a resort and is for sale at some £80 millions!.
The area became popular with wealthy merchants from Palma who builtd beach front homes with their own small quays for landing from and mooring boats along what is now known as the Pine walk.
Mallorca is home to birds such as Black Vulture, Eleonora's Falcon, Audouin's Gull, Moustached Warbler and Marmora's Warbler which are all very rare or difficult to see in the rest of Europe.
For birdwatchers wishing to visit Mallorca, Puerto Pollensa makes the perfect base as it is close to the Albufuera marsh, the mountains in the north of the island and the seacliffs of Formentor. There are also several great birdwatching spots within walking distance of the town, including the Boquer valley which is great for migrants. if you come during the spring migration season (especially mid-April to mid-May) you'll meet lots of other birdwatchers and get plenty of information on what's about.
Later the area developed as a tourist resort but controlled well the nature and design of the new buildings.
It is a feature of the area that it is the base for the twin engine airforce seaplanes used in carrying water to forest fires.
