A fabulous penthouse apartment furnished to a modern high standard, which includes a fully equipped kitchen, digital flat screen TV (you can watch BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, C4 & C5), unlimited Broadband Wifi and hot/cold air-conditioning.

This large duplex penthouse apartment (110m2) is split over two levels with three private terraces (50m2), bringing the overall size of the apartment to more than 1700 sq. feet. The living area is open plan with access to two terraces, with a large leather corner sofa facing a flat screen TV with DVD player. There is a dining table with seating for 6 although you have a dining table on the main terrace for al fresco dining. The fully equipped kitchen has dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge freezer, microwave and oven.

There are two equal size bedrooms, both with en suite bathrooms. The master bedroom is on the first floor with a king size double bed and the second bedroom is upstairs and has two single beds and a fold up z-bed with access to its own private terrace. Both bedrooms have large wardrobes and cupboard space.

The apartment has air conditioning in all rooms, which is connected to a timer - the timer ensures our guests are still able to use the air con without any restrictions whilst inside the property. Maximum time is 2 hours but can be re-set immediately once timer has expired.

There are three private terraces to enjoy at this property. On the lower floor leading from the living area are two private terraces. The main terrace (25m2) has a recently installed automatic sunscreen, a deck chair and a large dining table and seating for 6 so great for al fresco dining. To the front of the living area there is a second terrace (15m2) with a comfortable rattan lounge set – a perfect retreat to unwind after a heavy day at the beach. There is also a quiet third terrace (10m²) off the upstairs bedroom with a cafe table and two chairs.

The complex is great for children with the choice of two swimming pool areas. First is the impressive large rectangular lap pool with a small shaded baby pool to the side. Secondly is a HEATED freeform swimming pool enabling you to enjoy swimming all year round – a great bonus allowing you to take full advantage of the Costa Del Sol climate, with 320 days on average of sunshine each year. Both pool areas have plenty of sun loungers and shaded areas, so a great place to chill out and relax plus it is completely secure and gated with a security guard employed 24/7.

The location is spot on. It is situated in the heart of Nueva Andalucia. La Maestranza is the perfect place to stay for those wanting to enjoy all that Puerto Banus has to offer. Just a 15 minute walk to the spectacular and vibrant marina front where you can enjoy the best designer shopping by day and lunch in style, and in the evenings dress up and make the most of some of the area's fine dining options or lively bars and discos. This is a truly fascinating place for the young and old alike.

In the immediate vicinity of La Maestranza is a supermarket, banks, pharmacy, bars, cafes and restaurants – literally as you walk out of the front door all these amenities are right there, so a car is not essential to enjoy your holiday. The very popular Saturday market is just 4 minutes away.

The beaches of Puerto Banus are very close, all offering sunbeds and parasols with traditional beach chiringuitos (beach bar/restaurant) to sample freshly caught fish and seafood. For those looking for a more lively time at the beach then you have the nearby private beach clubs of La Sala, Ocean Club and Mistral Beach.

Golfers will be in heaven… Nueva Andalucia is the home to some of the Costa del Sol's best golf courses with Las Brisas, Aloha and Los Naranjos, all being within a 10 minute drive.
