The property is a luxury 2 bedrooms, 2-bathroom apartment on the ground floor with front door leading onto the swimming pool and the beautiful award winning gardens, which are admired and enjoyed by occupants and visitors alike. The large patio with table and selection of seating leads on to a garden area with a slow moving stream giving it a very private situation. PLEASE NOTE THAT AT LEAST 2 PERSONS MUST BE 25 YRS OR OVER.This is a community rule.

The property is a luxury 2 bedrooms, 2-bathroom apartment on the ground floor with front door leading onto the swimming pool and the beautiful award winning gardens, which are admired and enjoyed by occupants and visitors alike. The large patio with table and selection of seating leads on to a garden area with a slow moving stream giving it a very private situation. The apartment has air-conditioning and warm-air central heating controlled by a single switch throughout the whole apartment. It sleeps five, four in the two twin bedrooms both with full en-suite facilities and sliding doors opening on to a patio area. The fifth person can sleep on a foldaway bed which is provided The lounge/dining room is approx. 28 feet by 13 feet with sliding doors to the terrace, one side of the room being totally mirrored giving an impression of much wider open space. Dining is on a glass-topped table with 6 cane seats. The lounge area has a 3-seated settee with occasional chairs and tables, and T.V. We receive many UK channels and other European channels. Washing machine and dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave oven, plus the usual smaller electric items,- toaster, kettle, iron and vacuum. Crockery, cutlery, glassware, pots and pans are all in supplied. The patio extends along the whole apartment with 6 chairs and table along with two sun loungers. The development has just completed a new indoor heated pool, sauna, steam room and exercise facilities, which are available to people renting the apartment. A small fee is payable for the use of these facilities. During high season a small charge will be made for use of sun loungers at the pool side

LA ALCAZABA From the Moorish word meaning THE CASTLE-it was designed by a well known Andalucian architect, Melvin Villaroe..and built by a local family builder. It comprises 187 individual apartments with between one and 5 bedrooms and covers an area of 35 000 sq.meters. A major feature of the development is the award winning gardens with up to 350 palm trees also an estimated in excess of 80 varieties of shrubs and plants. The complex is home to The Polynesian Restaurant (world renown Polynesian cuisine) (a must) and Tonga bar which will make your favourite cocktails, which open from 13.00hrs until late. Also there is a family run pool bar where you can order a variety of lunchtime meals. Wii-Fii is available FREE in this area. The pool bar opens from Easter until end of October but this may vary.

“Delightful property”

Had a lovely stay at this property. The gardens are immaculate and a real pleasure to look at. The apartment is bright and spacious with excellent air conditioning and in a prime location. Easy walking distance to Puerto Banus and a short cab ride to Marbella. Very handy in that it has a cafe and restaurant on site as well as a gym.

We are a family of five and were holidaying with our 'grown-up' kids - 22, 19 & 16 for one week. Michael, the owner, was great to deal with and his instructions meant we were well versed on arrival. Our early arrival went very smoothly and was helped by the lovely housekeeper who allowed us to change and leave our bags even though the apartment wasn't ready. The apartment is fantastic - spacious and tastefully furnished. The private terrace is large and has areas of both sun and shade all day. WiFi and TV channels were a must for our demanding brood and worked smoothly during our stay. The gardens at La Alcazaba are outstanding. The charming pool area and surrounding grounds are a welcome change from the usual bland environments of so many apartments / hotels. A short 5/10 minute walk leads to the beach and vibrant port area where we enjoyed meals and the kids made the most of the nightlife. We hope to return for a longer stay next year. The apartment would appeal to old and young, alike - you won't be disappointed!

“Fantastic holiday in excellent apartment”

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday. The apartment is ideally situated WITHIIN Puerto Banus (many apartments advertised as Puerto Banus are at least 20 - 30 minutes walk away) and also on the best side of Alcazaba with the rear terrace opening out onto small garden and stream. It is quiet and easy to access. The apartment is very attractive to all age groups: I am 60 and was there with three young adults in their 20s and we all loved it. It is extremely comfortable with everything that you need to enjoy your stay. Michael was extremely helpful throughout the booking process and sent very comprehensive arrival information. Over the past few years I have rented 5 apartments within Alcazaba and several in other local complexes, but could not fault this booking in any way.

Lovely apartment. Well positioned for easy access to beach and the port of Puerto Banus. All facilities are easy to hand and apartment was very clean. Complex kept very well and very relaxing. Looking forward to going back.

We found the whole booking experience easy with Michael and when we arrived at the apartment - the attention to detail was great - I.e. initially being given a dedicated, easy to find, car parking space in the garage . The flat was exactly as described and, for us, the position was perfect allowing us to sunbathe on the patio in the afternoons when it got too busy by the pool There was everything one would need within the apartment although the wifi did fade in and out quite a lot The apartment's outside space was a godsend and so pretty to sit there quietly and yet Alcazaba is close enough to walk to Puerto Banus to seek some nightlife Finally, the flat was clean throughout and apart from having to stagger our showers in order to let the water heat up enough - we had no problems at all and hope to rent this apartment again in the near future !!!!
