Description

This detached beach holiday villa has a SEPARATE 2 bedroom apartment included at pool level providing 5 bedrooms in total over 3 floors.

So it is ideally suited to both families and groups wanting flexibility and a little more privacy; a relaxing beach holiday; only a short 5 to 10 minute stroll to the beach PLUS a selection of restaurants and bars PLUS a local supermarket; NO need to hire a car (we can also arrange transfers to and from the airport).

It is on a no-through road which joins one of the best regarded beaches in the area (Fireman's Bay) to the center of the main area of friendly and family orientated Kapparis village.

Stepping out of the front door, 300m to the left is the beach, 200m to the right is the center of the bar/restaurant area

A local supermarket similar size to UK's Sainsbury's Local, Tesco Express is open every day from 8am until 10pm just at the top of the road (less than 5 minutes walk)

This is perfect for everyday items, daily fresh bread, food, magazines, beer/wine, bags of ice, toiletries, sun cream etc. and also electrical items, beach wear, lilos etc.

If you want to do a 'big shop' it is only a short taxi ride (various reliable numbers provided) 5 to 10 mins (5 to 10 euros) to other larger Supermarkets including a Lidl and Aldi.

In total the villa has 5 bedrooms split over 2 of the 3 floors.

It's easier to think about it as a detached 3 bedroom villa with an additional separate 2 bedroom apartment/Granny annex bolted onto the bottom which is not connected internally to the rest of the villa upstairs.

This allows greater flexibility for larger groups or 2 families wanting to share but also wanting a little bit of their own space and privacy.

Outside is a larger than average private pool (9.5mx4.5m) which ranges from 3ft in the shallow end to 6ft at the deep end. The deep end has sloping sides for added safety.

Around the pool is a spacious tiled and decked garden area with high fencing all round for better privacy. The whole perimeter of the plot from front to back is fenced with lockable gates to the side and front providing a great safe containment area for escape orientated kids.

For younger children you can create a safe containment area on the middle level balcony with a lockable gate around the stairs and another around the side of the house. So you can keep an eye on them playing in this area through the patio doors whilst you are in the kitchen or sitting in living room.

We can also provide stair gates for inside if required.

Sunbathe around the pool, or for shade we have two pergolas. One is attached to the villa so it's easy to step inside to the poolside kitchen to get a cool drink or snack from the fridge. Another pergola (Awaiting photo) is provided at the bottom of the garden area which usually results in one for adults and one for teenagers as 10 meters apart!

There is a lush green-zone to the rear.

We have free wi-fi.

Getting around

Larnaca airport is an easy to navigate 45 minute drive from the villa with 25 minutes on the motorway, 10 minutes on dual carriageways then 10 minutes along the coast road. Easy to find if you are hiring a car. Otherwise I can arrange transfers for you as a car is not really necessary for a relaxing beach holiday as Kapparis has enough of everything (local size supermarket, choice of 12 restaurants/bars) within 10 minutes easy walk of the villa. Plus one of the nicest beaches in the area an easy 5 minute walk from the villa. A local bus running along the coast road to Pernera, Protaras and Ayia Napa stops on the Kapparis road 5 minutes walk away from the villa. Taxis are freely available,choice of companies/telephone numbers provided

Interaction with guest

Key safe outside front door with keys in so you can let yourself in whatever time you arrive. The people who clean and look after the villa for me live locally and are available for any problems. They will come round to see you the day after you arrive once you have settled in.

“location, location, location.....”

I have nothing but good things to say about our family holiday over the Easter break. From booking the villa to the return of my deposit following our stay, everything was just so easy! Richard was tremendously efficient and went out of his way to provide us with helpful hints of places to eat and things to do - not just from his own experience but he had listened to previous guests of the villa and passed on this information to us too. He also provided contact details for the local taxi/car hire company who also proved to provide a service above and beyond expectation. There were eight of us in our party and the villa could easily have coped with two more without feeling claustrophobic. The villa was spotless and very appointed. The outdoor seating area around the pool was a real sun trap and more than accommodated our large numbers. Whilst we did leave the villa to do a little bit of sight-seeing, we also spent a lot of time enjoying the quiet around the pool reading our books!! Probably the best thing for us regarding the villa was its location. Whilst you are on the edge of a village, it's a village with about 10 choices of restaurant within a five minute walk! You really could arrive at this villa in a taxi, read your book all day, maybe take a stroll down to the beach, go out for dinner, have a few glasses of wine and get back in the taxi at the end of the week if that's all you wanted to do and you'd be so refreshed!! Equally, you can hire a car and visit Nicosia for the day, or drive to the mountains or take a walk along the beach. It's entirely up to you how busy or lazy you want to be!! Either way, this villa will give you the freedom to do it!!!
