The Great Kings is located in Kapparis, locally accepted as the "up and coming" area on the eastern side of the island. Kapparis is home to two stunning beaches, most notably "Firemans beach" which is either a 2 minute drive or 15 minute walk from the complex. Although Kapparis is traditionally quieter than its neighbouring tourist hotspots, guests will still easily be able to sample abit of both with Protaras (5 minutes) and Ayia Napa only a 10 minute drive from the complex.
The focal point for the complex is the large pool area comprising of a large swimming pool and smaller children's paddling pool. The area is bathed in sunshine from dawn "till" dusk. The complex benefits from the use of an on-site tennis court for guests who wish to remain active! Guests will also have full use of a communal sun terrace which overlooks the pool area.

“GREAT KINGS APARTMENTS”
A Lovely Large Homely and Comfortable Apartment with Everything you need for your Holiday they have A communal TV downstairs in the complex near the seating area and pool that has English channels...The Balcony is lovely to sit and eat or just cool down on a night .The swimming pool area is lovely and gets the sun all day long. 15 TO 20 MIN WALK to bars and restaurants never had a bad meal and ate out most nights MELLO is a bar restaurant that does great food and has Tv all over for sports Reasonable prices .Would recommend this area if you like quiet .We met some lovely people who live in the complex all year round and were very helpful. as we have not stayed in Kapparis before. this is a great apartment for couples or friends holidaying together.
“Fantastic Apartment, Highly Professional Service, Family Friendly complex”
This apartment is situated just 1km from Kapparis which has a some very good restaurants, bars and beaches. I had an amazing experience watching turtles swimming at the nearby and beautiful beach of Ayas Trios (probably spelt wrong!) Protaras and Aya Napa is only 4km away. Both these places offer a fantastic range of bars,restaurants and beaches.(fig tree bay and Nissi bay a must!) Stevens apartment has just about everything you could possibly want for a self catering holiday,from a dishwasher, washing machine all the way down to a couple of egg poachers. We arrived very tired to an exceptionally clean apartment. The complex has a wonderful pool and when we were there it was very quiet.It accommodates the less able person with lifts,ramps etc, and also has a fantastic little pool for the little ones. I would strongly recommend this place for anyone wanting a relaxing holiday. The handover of key's, directions provided by Steven was seamless. Vehicle car/bike hire is also very highly recommended.
The apartment it was perfect..clean modern..it was in a nice and quiet area ...I want to go and next year!!!!!

“Well equipped apartment”
We spent just four days at the Great Kings whilst visiting family, the apartment was clean and modern and we had a very comfortable stay. The apartment is well equipped with every comfort thought of, including a hairdryer which was great as I couldn't get mine in my 'hand luggage only' trip. Great Kings complex is well serviced with really lovely pool, bar/café, amenities for kids and general view TV. My only negative comment is the distance to walk anywhere. It takes about 20 minutes to the main street in Kapparis with a further 10 minutes to the beach. I would recommend use of a car to families renting this apartment.
“Family Holiday - Revisiting the Protaras area”
I'd like to thank Steven for all the help and great information supplied when booking his apartment for what was our second visit to this region of Cyprus. With our first stay being in the Fig Tree Bay beach front hotel we were married in - we wanted to stay within a short drives distance whilst having a little more privacy and flexibility that an apartment / villa would allow. The apartment ticked every box and allowed us to enjoy every second. Excellently equipped and conveniently located (just off of the main road through Kapparis), it gave us an excellent base to start each day. I'd happily recommend the apartment and area to any friends or family travelling to this region of Cyprus - I'm keen to revisit myself again soon!
This apartment has everything you need for a comfortable holiday. I had recently been I'll and needed a quiet place to stay this was perfect,close enough to night life but still peaceful at night. The apartment is spotless clean and the people who take care of it are very helpful. Have already booked to go back.
“Immaculate, excellent value apartment”
We stayed here for a week over New Year and were very happy with the apartment. It was immaculately clean, spacious and very well equipped. We were very impressed with everything provided, particularly as the price was so good. The apartment complex is a short drive from the main resorts of Protaras and Ayia Napa. We drove all over the island, as it's small enough that you can go anwhere - even Paphos on the opposite side - as a day trip. The location of the apartment gives easy access to the motorway towards Larnaca and from there to Nicosia, Limassol, Troodos and Paphos. The apartment is also just a few miles from one of the border crossing points via which you can visit North Cyprus, if that interests you (head through Paralimni, Deryneia and Frenaros towards Agios Nikolaos crossing point). We found the old town of Famagusta and the ruins of the ancient city Salamis to be well worth a visit. It was very quiet at this time of year, with very few residents on the complex, although it appeared that a small number of locals lived in the apartments year-round. We used the tennis court once but could probably have played all day everyday as we didn't see anyone else using it. It was a nice touch to have the rackets and balls provided in the apartment. The pool looked nice but we didn't want to brave the cool water although the weather was pleasantly warm and sunny - but then we are not really into sunbathing anyway. Even at this time of year there were a few restaurants and bars open within walking distance in Kennedy Avenue, Kapparis - we liked Karas Tavern. The only real disadvantage we found was that the complex was very dark at night. I imagine this was partly because there were not many people staying here at this time of year. This made it hard to find our parking space and apartment, particularly on the first night when we arrived. There are lights in the parking area, and some of these seemed to be motion-sensitive and come on when we were nearby, but it was very hit-and-miss as to whether the ones we actually walked/drove under came on! Similarly walking from the parking space down the side of the apartment block to the entrance was very dark. Other than that we were very happy and would certainly stay here again if we come back to Cyprus.
“Makes a refreshing change from hotels.”
1st thing is hire a car. You need a car if you're staying here. Steve who owns this apartment gave us all the info' we needed and explicit directions from the airport which took us straight there. On arrival 1st impression were great. Very clean and comfortable. Instructions available on how to work things and maps etc of where to go, places to see. Kitchen well equipped. Lovely bathroom. Bed comfortable. The complex is well equipped with pool and tennis courts. Steve has left tennis racquets for your use. Location of this appartment is just a short walk from the bars, restaurants and beaches. The great thing about this place is that it is peaceful. If you want to be in a noisy hotel with drunk people and screaming kids then this is not the place for you. If you're looking for a place to stay with independence from the crowds and holiday companies then this is the place for you. I would definitely stay there again.

“Very well presented accommodation in a great complex”
We stayed in October 2012 which was our second trip to this apartment, having previously stayed in October 2010. Once again, we were not dissapointed with a very smart apartment with a quiet swimming pool and tennis court right on your doorstep. The whole complex is immaculate and very well maintained. On this occasion we visited with another couple and the apartment is large enough to accommodate four adults quite comfortably. The booking process was extremely easy and the apartment is great value. I would not hesitate to recommend the apartment to anybody looking for a relaxed holiday with stunning beaches only a few minutes drive away. I can't think of a better place to visit so late in the year where the locals are friendly, the weather is so consistent and the sea is warm!
