Walk less than 5 minutes to sunbathe on fine sandy Cyprus beaches and swim in the crystal clear waters of the warm Mediterranean... Cyprus is well known for it's bright blue clear skies, and hot sunny weather.

This is a privately owned fully furnished 1 bed / 1 bath top floor holiday apartment for rental, with stunning sea views to the horizon. A great location for a holiday in the sun for a couple or small family. Type of holiday is upto the traveller – sunbathing, relaxing on the beach, hiking, sightseeing, scuba diving or to try out other watersports. Sundays apartment complex is one of only a few in central Kapparis, within reasonable walking distance of the beach. Virtually on the doorstep of the complex are many amenities, restaurants, shops, and bars/ pubs within a few minutes walk away.

A spacious open living area leads to sheltered balcony with outdoor table, chairs, and sun loungers - with a view out to sea and the awe-inspiring horizon. Visitors can relax, read, enjoy a drink or meal, and experience a gorgeous sunset. Relax by a nearby pool, or at a local Kapparis cafe, restaurant or bar.

Our apartment is ideal for couple or even a family with child or baby. Although it's only a one bedroom holiday apartment there is a large comfortable king size bed in the bedroom, travel cot (suitable baby or toddler to age 3), and a double sofa bed in the living room. Sumptuous leather sofas furnish the living room, offering a TV with English satellite channels, DVD player & movies. The new equipped kitchen has all the expected mod cons, including cooker, oven, fridge/ freezer and washing machine. An extendable dining table allows for meals indoors and seats 4 people. We even provide a high chair for toddlers. There is full air-conditioning throughout the rental apartment. The single bathroom has both a bath tub and shower function.

The atmosphere of the neighborhood and apartment complex resort is very relaxed and laid back which makes it the ideal place for a chill out holiday or vacation. The rental apartment makes a perfect romantic get away for a couple looking for a more private and peaceful location than the usual Cyprus hotel.

Cyprus benefits from lovely blue skies and day long sunshine in most months with temperatures approx. above 30C most of the year.

Sundays Apartment complex is one of very few in central Kapparis, on Kennedy Avenue the main road with restaurants, bars, pubs and shops as well as other amenities such as children play areas, hairdressers, rental companies, and even betting shops. The only places closer to Fireman's beach than Sundays complex and with swimming pools are mainly villas. Potential guests should make sure to check the location of other apartments on google maps when making enquiries as many are much further out from beaches than expected. Fireman's beach is the best in the nearby area and approx. 5 minutes walk down from Kennedy Avenue, off a famous area known as Millionaire's Row. There are also more beaches less than 10 mins walk away along the coast. There is a supermarket opposite the apartment complex for daily supplies, and 24/7 shops further up the road. For bigger supplies there is a Lidl and Carrerfour and other large local supermarket approx. 5-6 minutes drive to Paralimni from Kapparis centre and beaches. The apartment is only a few minutes drive to Agia Triada or Pernera, 6-7 minutes drive to Protaras, and 15 mins drive to Agia Napa. A car is not needed though as there is a sheltered bus stop nearby to the apartment (2 mins walk) and buses go to main towns - Paralimini, Agia Triada, Pernera, Protaras, Agia Napa, Nicosia and Larnaca - and only costs about 2 Euros.

At most beaches holiday makers can participate in a half day boat trip, or water sports including jetski, snorkelling, SCUBA, fly fishing, speedboating, pedal boats, water skiing, parasailing, kayak, ringos, u-tube, crazy shark, banana and oxoon. In easy driving reach are nearby mini-golf courses and other child friendly activities.

Travel around Cyprus:

Cyprus is a small island (240km across) so it's possible to drive from East to West coast in less than 3 hours. My Cyprus rental apartment is located along the South East coast, near to the North-South divide. Drive 20 mins to one of only 3 checkpoints to cross the border into Turkish North Cyprus - visit Famagusta city and Varosha ('the Ghost Town'), Salamis for ancient sites, or Karpaz Peninsula for secluded untouched beaches and turtle watching.

A short drive will take you to the Capital of Cyprus - Nicosia (a divided city with Turkish and Greek areas and influences), ancient historic sites such as 'Kition' near Larnaca and Limassol where it's possible to golf, or the Mountains of Troodos (approx. 1 1/4 hr drive) where you can even go skiing on the snow at Mount Olympus from Jan to end March.

Local companies within walking distance from apartment provide day trips to all locations at low prices - it's even possible to visit Paphos for a day.

Cyprus is an island of legends that basks all year-round in the warm Mediterranean sun. A storied past 10,000 years long has seen civilizations come and go and the likes of everyone from Alexander the Great to Cleopatra stake their claim here. Aphrodite was born in Cyprus and made her home here. Travellers throughout antiquity came here just to pay her tribute.

Religion is very important in Cyprus and there are many exquisite churches and monasteries in South Cyprus, and Mosques in the North worth a visit. The ancient history also includes heavy Roman and Venetian influence including ancient temples, baths, mosaics, city walls, and castles.

Getting around

Taxi from airport and apartment can be booked online. Details will be provided. It is usually easiest to rent a car for short periods to travel around Cyprus. The island is very small and Limassol can be reached in 1.5hrs and Paphos around 2hrs. Larnaca is 40mins. Protaras 15 mins. Agia Napa 25mins. Also possible to drive North Cyprus in 30mins. There are local booking offices for short trips inclusive of travel. Bus are available. Protaras / Agia Napa No. – 301, 706 and 711. Bus stop is across road from apartment on Kapparis (Kennedy) Avenue. Bus to Larnaca and Paphos from bus stop about 10 minutes walk. No. - 703, 708 and Intercity bus Famagusta- Larnaca-Paphos. “Good apartment very close to beach”

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Sundays apartment. Beautiful beach is on doorstep so we went nearly every day. The apartment was very convenient for shops and some great restaurants with a good variety. Stayed with 2 year old son and the owner helped provide a cot and highchair. We did have to buy a potty but left it behind. Quiet even when main road was busy as apartment was at rear of complex like advertised. Only bad thing we felt the complex areas were a little messy and can be improved. We hope to be able to visit again one day. Thanks!
