Description

There is much to be said about The Orchard House, hidden away in a great location! Though not a beachfront property, this house sleeping six adjoins a Nature Reserve area named "Pyrki" after a watchtower located in the vicinity. Attention to detail is evident throughout, and the features are many. Our favorite area here is the garden facing the Nature Reserve area. Featuring a meander of decks and levels set within beautiful gardens you will find a great area for outdoor dining, a gazebo also good for nude sunbathing, a large high spec jacuzzi (safe for young children as it has a heavy lid providing a degree of security), an outdoor sound system, an orchard complete with fruit bearing trees, a BBQ area, an outdoor shower.

The inside can hardly be criticized. Electronic consoles, large TV and entertainment center, a choice of channels, leather sofas, indoor plants have all been placed over time and refined to the point where one can argue that nothing of substance is

Electronic consoles, large TV and entertainment center, a choice of channels, leather sofas, indoor plants have all been placed over time and refined to the point where one can argue that nothing of substance is missing-including the proud owner who is very happy to oblige and quickly act on any issues unser our supervision and guidance.

Upstairs the prize goes to the modified master bedroom, which has been decorated to include a spacious walk in shower complete with blue lights for effect. All bedrooms are fully furnished and decorated of course, and the overall impression is very pleasing. All in all this property is becoming a favorite for repeat clients and we advise booking early.

Venturing further, a footpath starting from the orchard leads to a hideaway cove 100m away..you are now on the E4 European Nature Trail that leads to a multitude of better (and lesser) known beauties, leading ultimately to the pristine white sand Blue Flag Konnos Bay. The Orchard House is as close as it gets to bordering the Cape Greco National Park and we can recommend it with ease.

Location description from owner

The Famagusta District

Situated on the southeastern part of Cyprus, the Famagusta region is home to the Cape Greco National Park, featuring unspoiled beaches, exciting hiking trails, and a marine life with no equal in the area. A pleasant 5 to 10 minute drive away are the two resort towns of Ayia Napa and Protaras, and the small city of Paralimni. The surrounding countryside is dotted with agricultural activities, still strong in the area.

Protaras

The Cape Greco area opens up a world of exploration and discovery as soon as you step out of your home and head straight to the majestic Cape Greco coastline with its many secrets!

Join the E4 European Nature Trail next to The Orchard House and walk along the magnificent coastline with its caves, private bathing spots, Neolithic settlements and an incredible variety of flora and fauna.

Along the route you will pass by Konnos Bay, a Blue Flag beach of white sand, fully equipped with showers, a picturesque café on the edge of a cliff under a pine forest. Take a canoe for two from Mike's or walk to the Ayioi Anargyroi Chapel area, with the cliff-diving and the multitude of sea caves surrounding the immediate area.

Pushing further south, the Cape Greco Tabletop landmass rises majestically and invites you to explore it or climb it. The walk around the Tabletop mountain, once the host of a Temple to Aphrodite, takes an hour and is well-designed for hikers. This landmass amongst others is the home of birds of prey, with wild pigeons and smaller birds below it. Climbing to the top rewards you with a Santorini-type view from various directions. Rock climbing associations frequent the area, which is also the premier scuba diving destination of eastern Cyprus with the exception of course of the unique Zenobia wreck in Larnaca.

Walking past the landmass towards Ayia Napa you will walk past a beautiful cove, where an unknown individual has planted a metal ladder allowing access to the water-with care.

If you push on you will reach one of the island's phenomenal geological formations, which we call “The Palaces”. No words can describe the beauty of this spot which is a hot favorite for people of all ages. A holiday at The Orchard House, set on the residential zone that borders the Cape Greco National Park will provide you and your family or friends with a unique and memorable holiday.
