This beautiful spacious villa on the quiet cul de sac 'Artemis Villas', is an ideal location for either a group holiday with friends or for a family trip. With three double bedrooms (one with en-suite) and an open plan living area with all the mod cons, you can either stay in and enjoy the private pool or take a stroll to the nearby beaches (you may want to drive however if in peak season due to the heat!), it's a 10 minute walk to the main street in Protaras, depending on your pace.
The area has the best beaches in the south of the island and is near to the villages Paralimni and Dherynia, where you can enjoy an authentic Cypriot meal (please ask for recommendations) for a lower price than the tourist area. Nearer to the villa is the buzzing main street of Protaras which you can walk to and this is full of bars, restaurants and entertainment parks for children. If you're brave enough you can sample the nightlife of the famous Ayia Napa, which is a 15 minute drive away.
We can offer details of a local, reliable, english speaking taxi driver that would be happy to take you to the areas hidden gems and also collect and drop you off at the airport for a pre-agreed fee.
Please note that the minimum stay is 5 nights, or 4 nights during the off-peak season.
We've only recently added this villa to Holidaylettings, so please bear with us, reviews should appear in a few days from our previous happy holidayers!

The Famagusta District
This particular part of the island, Protaras, is on the east coast of Cyprus (nearest airport is Larnaca International - roughly 35 minutes drive) and has some of the most beautiful beaches - there are many to choose from - and the locals are always very friendly and speak a good level of english.
Driving is easy for UK tourists as they drive on the same side, however in Protaras you rarely need a car.
The area in which the villa is situated presents the best of both worlds. We have had guests ranging from young families, to groups of friends, to also couples.
The villa is on a cul de sac which has around 6 houses, this house is one of the four larger villas on that road, with spacious bedrooms and living area. When you drive onto the road you have a beautiful, unspoilt view of the quaint church 'St Elias', which at night is illuminated and can be seen from all over Protaras....It's an extremely beautiful view, and if you climb up the mountain you have spectacular views of the area. The church mountain is a 5 minute walk from the house.
And just at the steps of the church mountain is a small sandwich shop - who do lovely local grilled halloumi sandwiches - lots of variations available... So if you are sunbathing by the pool and cant be bothered making your own lunch, you can try the sandwiches the way the locals make them - very nice and not too pricey. The ice cream man tends to come by the street with his ice cream van also - so make sure you try the local ice cream - rose sorbet.
The location is ideal - in Central Protaras - not the Perneras area which is far away from the main attractions of the area. The house itself is just off the road that runs parallel to the main road leading into Central Protaras. The mountain with the church on it is the nearest landmark - we can provide precise details once you book so don't worry!
You can walk to the nearby shops, restaurants and beaches - just take something to shade yourself as in peak heat even the 15 minute walk can feel longer because of the weather! The main road in Protaras has lots of different types of cuisine, Thai / Italian / Japanese / Greek, you name it...There are also trendy shisha lounges, hotel bars on the beaches... and crazy golf / activities for the young families ;-) There is also a Lidl within driving distance should you want to fill up the fridge with your every day essentials and spend less doing so. Don't go to the touristy shops, you will pay more.
If you would like to experience real local life, the nearby villages of Paralimni and Dherynia are not far, just a 15minute drive and you can have lovely cheap, authentic and delicious food such as kleftiko, souvlaki, mezze etc and the prices are a lot cheaper. Just ask us and we will recommend some places. Also short drive away is Ayia Napa - for the young adventurous guests - there are plenty ore things to do there and there is also a huge waterpark with rides so you can spend the day there having fun also.
On the way into Ayia Napa there is also Cape Greco, a protected nature park. From the high points on the cliff that rests at the cape one can see amazing sights out to sea. A well worth trip - google it and you will see the lovely sights that await you!
We hope you like the sound of lovely Protaras and book a stay in our villa...you won't regret it!

"Perfect place in the sun!"
A fantastic property whose immediate surroundings are halcyonic and, yet, only about a 10 minute walk from the beach and the quietly bustling Protaras. Ideally located to provide the best of both worlds. It was spotless with all mod cons and the swimming pool was a real added bonus at the height of summer. A great place to spend a holiday and I would highly recommend it with no hesitation.

We spent 1 week at this great house, and you can't ask for much more. A very clean and spacious house with its own pool. It was ideal for the relaxing holiday we were looking for. We chilled out by the pool most days, and all the amenities necessary were within 10mins.
