Dining area with round glass table and 6 orange chair and Kartell orange lamp. The two bedrooms are decorated with contemporary designed queen-size metal beds. The Famagusta District

The Famagusta region is located at the East Coast of Cyprus and it is known for its long stretches of very clean beaches with golden sand and cristal clear water. It stretches from Turkish-occupied Famagusta all the way to Protaras and Ayia Napa.

This two towns (Ayia Napa and Protaras) are very popular tourist resorts because of its beautiful beaches and bays and its mediterranean life.

Between Ayia Napa and Protaras you find Cape Greco, also known as Cavo Greco, it is a headland in the southeastern part of the island of Cyprus. It is at the southern end of Famagusta Bay.
It is frequently visited by many tourists for its natural beauty and its amazing views of the sea. It is a protected nature park.

According to local legend it is also the home of the 'Ayia Napa sea monster'.

Protaras

“Excellent apartment in a great location”

This was a spacious, well planned, tasteful and immaculately clean apartment. The air conditioning brought a welcome relief from the hot summer temperatures and evening humidity. The view of the sea is stunning and all rooms were a good size. There was plenty of wardrobe space and a fully functioning kitchen with washing machine : saves bringing home too much holiday laundry. There always seemed to be spare sunbeds around the pool so there was no real rush to secure a space by the pool which was very well maintained. There were two beaches literally minutes walk from either side of the apartment but they appear to be very busy in the summer months. There was a wide range of water sport activities ranging from relaxing to daring. There were several restaurants / cafe's on the sea front to chose from and the main street with numerous bars, restaurants and shops was within easy access and lively and well spirited in the evenings. Although close to the apartment, the sounds from the busy main street at night did not really travel as far as the apartment. The booking process was smooth and the owner was friendly, helpful and available for advice if required. Fig Tree Bay can be as relaxing or lively as you want it to be due to the choices of locations and activities in the area. This felt like a very safe, family oriented place with no noticeable crime or trouble and is suitable for all ages. I travelled with my partner, his 17 year old daughter and my 12 year old daughter and there were plenty of activities and entertainment to satisfy all of us. Although we loved the apartment, our one small annoyance was the hard mattresses on the beds (although some may prefer that) along with the fact that one of the beds had very noisy creaks to the extent that if one of us moved during the night it would wake the other. This by no means affected our enjoyment of this fabulous apartment and we would certainly recommend it to anyone considering booking it.

“AMAZING IN EVERY WAY”

we stayed at the apartment because my friend was getting married at the capo bay and the apartment is right next door to the hotel, to be honest i was really nervous about travelling for the first time with a little one but sabine the owner put my mind at rest time and time again. before we arrived in the months leading up to the stay we emailed back and forth and she constantly made me feel better , she even arranged taxis with car seats and told me about her doctors etc if i should need them. any way we arrived and walked into the apartment and it took my breath away! i normally stop in 4 or 5 star hotels before we had the little one but this surpassed most places i have stayed in. its decor is stunning, it was immaculate and very modern. my husband was pleased also at the lift so he didnt have to carry cases up any stairs at all. the location was perfect right on the beach ( i hate beaches but even i have to admit it was lovely) starts of very shallow and chrystal clear perfect for my 18 month old. the best resturants of the area are literally 2 mins walk round the corner. supermarket 1 min away. the pool was spotless and very quiet the most people that were in it was 5! normal it was just the 3 of us with the huge pool to ourselves my daughter loved it. i was worried about my little girl i shouldnt have been , all of the people were so friendly in the resturants and around and it was brilliant. i would recommend this apartment to anyone and everyone, we WILL be back as soon as possible. my husband didnt want me to right this review because he thinks we wont be able to go again because it will be booked up but i have to because it was just THAT GOOD that the world should know about it. thank you sabine for letting us have the pleasure of your apartment and we look forward to seeing you again soon. ( i just looked to see if it was free in my october half term but both apartment look like they are taken- darn it!!)

Beautiful apartment in a great location. Corner apartment with stunning views of both Fig Tree Bay and Protaras Beach. Apartment furnished and equipped to a high standard, the only thing missing being mirrors in bedrooms for drying hair and getting ready. Contact with owner was brilliant. She was extremely friendly and helpful and quickly responded to questions via email. Would recommend arranging private taxi transfer through the owner as they were waiting for us on arrival. Would most definitely stay at this apartment again and would highly recommend it. We will be back!
