Description from owner
Prodromi Gardens is a small, select development situated between the coastal resorts of Polis and Latchi. With a commanding view of the sea and a magnificent mountain range backdrop, the property is ideal for just 'chilling out', or for the more adventurous, taking advantage of the nearby facilities for water sports, golf, trekking or exploring the miles of unspoilt beaches.Eating out locally is easy as there are numerous tavernas, bars and restaurants catering for a wide array of tastes and children are welcomed everywhere. Language should not be a problem either, as most Cypriots speak very passable English, although it is fun to try to pick up a few Greek phrases (especially the children) to impress friends and family upon your return home. If you choose to self cater for the whole stay there are many local shops/kiosks and two large well stocked supermarkets (from where we recommend that you try one of their delicious cakes for 'afternoon tea').Driving in Cyprus

The road signs are all in Greek and English and the roads on the whole are well maintained. The 25 minute drive from the property into Paphos has some of the most spectacular views in Cyprus and Paphos also offers historical sites (Roman and Greek), golden sandy beaches (Coral Bay) and the more lively bars and night clubs. There is something for everyone in Cyprus and Prodromi Gardens can be your home whilst you decide which relaxing/exciting/interesting activity you want to do next.

Location description from owner
The Paphos District
The Paphos District surrounds Paphos town, which in ancient time was once the capital of Cyprus and is now a thriving tourist destination. Kato Paphos (lower Paphos) is famous for its mediaeval fort, beautiful Roman mosaics, the Tombs of the Kings and many other antiquities. The town of Paphos is teeming with bars, shops, restaurants and clubs and is popular with holiday makers of all ages. The golden beach resort of Coral Bay close to Paphos is a great place for a fun filled day with the family, with lots of choices when it comes to eating out.
Polis and Latchi, the two towns that border the property at Prodromi, are a little more laid back than down town Paphos. The resorts both have plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants and tavernas, both offer beginner and more advanced water sports facilities including PADI diving courses and Latchi boasts a great childrens play area. The beaches at Polis and Latchi are not as golden as Coral Bay but have the advantage of sweeping around the coast from one resort to the other, giving miles of beach ensuring plenty of space to unwind and let the kids run wild! The flat walkway between Polis and Latchi is ideal for young and old alike and takes in the beautiful scenery.Other activities available nearby include ten-pin bowling, go-karting, golf, fishing, self-drive boat hire, and cycling. Many of the local bars and restaurants have regular "English" themed entertainment such as quiz nights and karaoke sessions. Many places offer large screen coverage of all major sports events from the UK.Nearby is the popular tourist spot of Aphrodite's Baths, well worth a trip but be warned, don't forget the sunscreen and sunglasses, it can be quite a suntrap! Treat yourself to some fresh fruit from the sellers at the entrance, it is hand picked that day and quite delicious!A real treat during your stay would be a trip into the Troodos mountain range. There are a number of routes to the mountains so please feel free to use the maps provided for you at the property. Troodos can be slightly cooler than the resorts and offers wonderful opportunities to dine out in sheltered settings. Cycle hire is available for those of you who have some energy left and this is a wonderful way to view the breathtaking scenery. Troodos has craft shops and the lace and linenware is a must for gifts to take home. The monastery at Kykkos is well worth a visit but gentlemen please remember to wear long trousers! For winter sports fans - there is even a ski resort in the Troodos mountains during the winter season! The Akamas peninsula is a protected area of hills, valleys and rocky shores. Ideal for rambling with rich and varied flora and diverse wildlife.

- Very Good
“Great place to relax and have fun as well”
Quiet location for family holidays. The house is well organised. Kids loved it - especially the pool!! Highly recommended.
“Very relaxing with all home comforts”
Fantastic week away. House was very good and in a very good position halfway between Polis and Latchi. We managed to cut ourselves off from civilisation for a while which was exactly what was needed. A home away from home.
We stayed at Nampara for seven days in June 2013 and couldn't fault it! It is clean, well furnished and very comfortable. There is an ensuite with the main bedroom, which overlooks the main and children's pool. There is also a separate bathroom and twin bedroom. White marble stairs down to the living room and kitchen with patio doors out to a lovely table, chairs and parasol, just a step away from the pools. We virtually had the pool to ourselves for the week which was total luxury. We also used the pool just along next to the other houses at the complex. Fantastic mountain and sea views. Very close to both Polis and Latchi where there are excellent restaurants - again, not overcrowded at all and very pretty. Latchi's beach La Plage is excellent, as is Lemoni restaurant where Simon does a mean cocktail! Nampara was a first class base, very relaxing and we can't wait to go again. Book now, you will not be disappointed! A hire car is essential and a 4 wheel drive will get you to the more secluded areas such as the Blue Lagoon. The Latchi boat trips are well worth the money too.
“Lovely, relaxing, low-key holiday”
We had a lovely time here - the pool was great, apartment really clean, comfortable, tastefully furnished and had a friendly feel about it. The owners are really helpful and efficient. Nearby Latchi and Polis are nice, low key places, beach and harbour at Latchi are cool.. Would suggest you have a car, which we did... Great place for anyone including families looking for a relaxing holiday that's not too touristy
