Near the county capital of Truro, you will find this quintessential Cornish cottage in a quiet lane, within the Conservation Area of Probus village. Recently refurbished to a high standard, with all its special character this spacious cottage is spotlessly clean, comfortable and welcoming. We aim to provide you with a real 'home from home' so you can relax and enjoy this idyllic part of Cornwall.

Ideally located for both the north and south coast, you will have your choice of numerous sandy beaches. There's also World-Heritage off-road cycle trails, Eden project, Caerhay's Castle, Lost Garden's of Heligan, National Trust estates, and glorious coastal or rural walks within an easy drive. Our guests love the idyllic fishing villages dotted around the Roseland Pennisula (just 6 miles away), particularly magical St Mawes. A boat trip across the bay to the historic port of Falmouth is a must-do; then there's the cathedral city of Truro with farmer's market, theatre, eclectic shopping and so much more.

Back home at the cottage, fresh coastal decor provides you with the perfect place to unwind. Perhaps a leisurely cream tea in the conservatory, or relax in the pretty sun-trap garden whilst the church bells drift over. A gentle stroll across the village square will reward you with Aga-baked cakes in the cafe/gallery, fresh bread & home-made Cornish pasties in the farm shop; there's Cornish ale & scrummy home-made food in the local inn too. Waterlily Holiday Cottage offers you peace and quiet, friendly Cornish village life, and beautifully presented accommodation. We hope to welcome you soon x.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Claire (the owner) a message.

If Claire (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
