Description

3 bedroomed double glazed central heated caravan with decking, in primrose valley - Haven Holiday Park (Prestige classification) *

Caravan is located in small culdsack on the Haven site of Primrose Valley, great for the young to play out safely or the older ones to go off exploring. It has grass to the side and a paved area, with decking to the front and outside table and chairs. Full size fridge freezer. Mainly used by family, and no longer rented with Haven thus little extras are now able to be left- like a selection of toys, DVD player etc.

It's a 2min walk to the fun fair, boating lake, play ground, bar/ cafe, pic n paint, all useable without passes. And 1 of the indoor pools and 2 of the outdoor pools (passes needed)

The other pool, arcades, evening entertainment (passes needed), restaurants are 15-20min walk, past 2 playgrounds so takes us longer as our children enjoy detouring! (parking available)

* passes payable on site locally.

Location description from owner

The Yorkshire region

Primrose Valley is an ideal location for exploring the Heritage Coast and the North York Moors National Park.

North Yorkshire boasts two National Parks, The North York Moors and The Yorkshire Dales. Both areas are stunning and perfect for walkers, cyclists, climbers and for exploring by car or motorbike. Dalby Forest is a must for cyclists, and walkers alike, and is home to a Go Ape site for the thrill seekers.

Scarborough, Bridlington and Flamborough are all easily accessible. Steeped in history, the area is surrounded by historic homes, halls and castles including Burton Agnes Hall, Sewerby Hall and Gardens and Castle Howard. Whitby is 18 miles, renowned for its connections with Bram Stoker&Dracula and Captain James Cook. Board a steam train and relax as it meanders through the glorious Esk Valley. Visit walled York city, 40 miles, famous for its minster, museums, art galleries and shopping.

Flamingo Land Theme Park and Zoo is around 30 miles inland.

Primrose Valley

Filey is only 3 miles by road or a 20 minute stroll along the beach. It is a traditional English seaside resort on the North East coast of England, boasting a 5 mile stretch of clean, sandy, award winning beaches. Filey has enjoyed a reputation of being a seaside resort since Victorian days.It has own golf course and has all the usual amenities you would expect from a seaside town. Filey is protected to the north by a low lying ridge of rocks called Filey Brigg and from the Brigg the sands sweep to the south, terminated by the spectacular chalk cliffs of Speeton and Bempton.

The Yorkshire coastal towns of Whitby, Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington have been attracting visitors for hundreds of years who come to enjoy the miles of clean sandy beaches, pretty fishing ports and to walk along magnificent cliff top paths. All along the coast visitors will be able to find a contrast of family friendly resorts and quieter little fishing ports which, all in all, offers something for everyone.

BR>Hunmanby offers a 9-hole golf course, fishing lakes, shops, traditional inns and tea rooms. Hunmanby Gap, one of the east coast best kept secrets, has rock pooling and fossil hunting. Coastal and countryside walks surround the area, from energetic walks to leisurely strolls; cycle trails and tracks and the Cleveland Way and Wolds Way offer unrivalled distance walks.

A car is useful but not necessary, there is bags of things on site to do, and a bus stop on site should you wish to visit Scarborough, Bridlington and Filey.

“Lovely spacious caravan”

Reviewed 28 Aug 2016

My daughter and her family used this holiday when I was prevented from going. They enjoyed the quiet location which was still in easy reach of amenities. Primrose valley is an ideal place for children. The caravan was clean and comfortable and the owner responded fast and helpfully to the changes in arrangements.

Owner's reply: We are very please that the children enjoyed the holiday and the location of our caravan. Next time hopefully all will be able to go, but as with all things in life - plans change sometimes and we appreciate this and try to accomadate where posible.

“Fabulous caravan”

Reviewed 26 Aug 2016

Just back from a 5 night stay in this caravan in Primrose Valley. The caravan itself is brilliant - comfortable and well equipped (you can tell the owners actually use the van themselves). It is also well located near the Lakeside complex so two minutes walk from a pool, funfair, boating lake etc. all of which close early enough to not disturb your evening if you like to sit out on the balcony. My only "constructive criticism" would be that we weren't really clear about the need for Haven Fun Passes for pretty much all of the facilities - this added £120 to the cost of the holiday for a 4 night pass each and there is no "pay as you go" option.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your review, and we are glad you enjoyed the holiday and our caravan as much as we do. As for the funworks pass we will try to make it more clear in the future what these are needed for. The official prices are sent through on the bottom of the key release form (which is sent across upon full payment). I can offer Havens quote for the funworks passses in advance the quotes are: peak £39/ £20 adult/ child for 7 days or £30/15 adult/ child for 4 days.
