Fox Crossing offers a suite of private rooms which are a bright modern stylish ground floor bedroom with super comfy king size bed for a great nights sleep. There is a spacious modern tiled en-suite with large shower,stainless steel heated towel rail and fluffy white towels provided. Complimentary Cole and Lewis toiletries also provided.

There is a super large private lounge/dining room for your very own use here you can unwind with a tea coffee fruit tea, fresh milk in the fridge, relax and watch the 42" flat screen freeview TV or select a DVD from our library. We also have a collection of books to read.

Fox Crossing Bed and Breakfast is ideally situated in a rural location in the village of Preston, just 3 miles from Weymouth and 6 miles from Dorchester. The village has plenty of amenities within walking distance,wine shop/deli, chemist, spa shop/post office, hairdressers, Drs. and 3 local pubs where you can relax with a drink or enjoy a meal. Bowleaze Cove beach just 15mins walk on easy access footpaths.

Activities in the area are bird watching, golfing, wind surfing, paragliding, kite surfing, deep sea fishing sailing or just walking.

For your own use is a lovely private sunny cottage garden courtyard where you can relax in the sun.

We offer a hearty full English Breakfast, Continental or vegetarian made from locally sourced products which is included in your stay. There is also a selection of cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt, fresh orange juice, toast with preserves, tea or coffee.

Getting around

There is a bus stop opposite Fox Crossing B&B for a 10 minute ride to the scenic coastal town of Weymouth with its award winning beach the esplanade and also the old harbour. You could always catch the Jurassic Coast bus that allows you to enjoy some of the most spectacular views of the Dorset Coastline.

“Amazing B&B, better than staying in a hotel”

Fox Crossing is a superb B&B, luxurious accommodation in a lovely location. Spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished, a great place to relax. Rosemary served a delicious breakfast with a smile and was very helpful with advice on the local area.

We were only the second people to stay at this B&B. I can say that the rooms were very well appointed, beautifully decorated and immaculatly clean. Rosemary even supplied toiletries for our use. Breakfast was served at the table in our lounge and we sampled the continental and the cooked both were extremely good. Parking was very easy as it was just outside on the driveway. We had our own front door and could come and go as we wished. It was very well placed to tour Lyme Regis through to Swanage.
