Tucked away in a secluded mews it is hard to believe you are in the heart of the town.

A former craftsman's cottage near the centre of Presteigne, sleeping 2-4 plus baby cot but just ideal for the lone visitor or a couple. Rated 4-stars by Visit Wales.

This cosy mews cottage was originally one of a row of workshops for the 18th century Iron mongers Store. The cottage has delightful character with exposed beams, stone walls and a small patio. Separate private small garden for BBQ dining with patio area and cycle storage shed and dedicated parking space.

Ground Floor: Entrance lobby with drying area,open plan lounge/kitchen/dining room with comfy double sofa bed.

First Floor: 1 Double bedroom. Bathroom with shower over plus toilet and basin.

Fully double glazed with gas central heating, all fuel and power included in rent, bed linen and towels, colour flat screen TV, DVD player, stereo/CD player,fridge freezer, microwave, patio, BBQ & garden furniture.

Located in a quiet mews a short walk from the vibrant and traditional Presteigne High Street with its rich assortment of good quality locally sourced food shops, restaurants, pubs and takeaways.

The Powys/Brecon Beacons region:Craftsmans Cottage is in the heart of Presteigne, close by the river Lugg which forms the border between England & Wales. This area, known as the Welsh Marches, is a hidden idyll. Small villages set in rolling hills straddle the border in delightful unspoiled countryside. You will find a welcome pack including tea, coffee, milk, sugar and biscuits so you can have a refreshing cuppa after your journey. The cottage is a short walk from our lovely vibrant High Street with traditional shops selling quality local foods and drinks. Two restaurants, 3 pubs serving food, 2 cafes, a wine bar, butcher, fish monger, post office, deli, small supermarkets, antiques, book shops, gifts and more. Wonderful walks and cycle routes straight from the cottage door. Plenty to see and do close by. Castles, gardens, and every sport you can imagine. Family owned with local knowledge for you to share.

“lovely cosy cottage”

It is a lovely warm comfortble cottage they thought of everything hair dryer etc. would go there again any day
