The villa is set over three floors typical of this mountainous coastline. The property has recently been renovated, where possible using eco-friendly, local materials. Hot water is provided by a solar panel system. The house is tastefully and comfortably furnished with a mixture of modern and antique pieces.
The private entrance to the property leads into an open plan room divided into separate areas. There is a living/dining area with satellite TV, DVD and sound system. Another section of the room hosts the kitchen, which is complete with gas stove (4 burners), electric oven, microwave, grill, dishwasher, fridge freezer, toaster, and American style electric coffee machine.
A door in the living area opens onto a bathroom with wash basin and WC. And two panoramic glass doors from the living room also open onto the terrace that offers an incredible view over the sea
The stairs by the main entrance connect to the lower level containing two double bedrooms (both with beds that cannot be separated) and both with ensuite bathrooms, one with a shower and one with both a Jacuzzi bathtub and separate shower.
Both bedrooms have glass doors that give access to a second terrace (60 sqm) equipped with sunbeds, loungers, chairs and a table. This terrace has a vine pergola that provides a shaded area.

The Amalfi Coast region
Not far from the Villa is a bus stop that connects Praiano to all the other towns on the Amalfi Coast. Especially in the summer, we strongly advise guests to use public transportation because car parks are very few, hard to find and rather expensive. Those guests who prefer to rent a car for their excursions, can ask the owners to arrange a rental with an English speaking driver. The owners will undoubtedly get the best quotes for their Clients.
Other interesting towns nearby are: Positano (7 km), Amalfi (9 km), Ravello (12 km), Pompei (30 km), Naples (40 km), Capri (40 km), and Paestum (45 km). “La grotta dello Smeraldo” or Emerald Grotto is 3 km away.
Villa Dina is a detached house with incredible south-facing views of the Amalfi Coast. The Tyrrhenian Sea and the coastline villages stretch as far as the eye can see.
The Villa enjoys one of the most tranquil locations in the cliff-town of Praiano. The centre of Praiano can be reached in 10mins on foot and the town is located on the coastal road that also connects to Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, Ravello and Salerno.
Praiano has been listed by UNESCO among the places in the world to be preserved as a cultural legacy for future generations. With its stone steps and narrow lanes it is an enchanted and enchanting place.
The centre of Praiano (about 10 mins on foot) offers all services, food shops (the “Emporio” to name one, which can also do home deliveries at no extra charge), bars, pizza places and restaurants. There are very interesting walking paths (like the famous "Path of the Gods") along the coast here, perfect for keen walkers.
The owners, who live nearby, used to own an hotel in Praiano: they speak English, German, French and Italian, and will be happy to assist their guests with any advice or information on visits (including local English speaking guides), itineraries, transfers, etc. They can also organise tailored excursions via sea or land on request.
The “La Praia” Beach (gravel and pebbles) is a 5 minute walk from the Villa and there you can swim, sunbathe, or take a boat to reach the various localities along the coast and the islands. There is also a scuba diving centre, a water taxi service and a boat rental facility. The beach also offers a number of bars and restaurants where they serve excellent local food and pizza, including world-renowned Neopolitan pizzas.
