Location description from owner

The England region

In the last decade Cornwall has emerged as one of the world's iconic destinations.

From the dramatic coastline of the north to the sheltered bays in the south, from ancient moorland to soft river estuaries, surfers, walkers, sailing buffs, gastronauts and visitors simply seeking a break from a hectic world have discovered a fascinating, vibrant culture, first class accommodation, food to die for and a naturally thrilling adventure playground.

Cornwall has been a natural home to inspiration, art and ideas since the early 19th century. So much so that, apart from London, you'll find nowhere in the whole country that's host to more working artists than Cornwall.

The county's dramatic landscape has also provided the backdrop for many a film and TV production, and nowhere more so than the little fishing village of Port Isaac - which is now synonymous as the fictional Port Wenn in ITV's Doc Martin.

“Quiet and relaxed”

Reviewed 10 Oct 2016

As someone who knows this area of Cornwall well, I picked Praa Sands as an area to stay as it is a good location to access various points of interest in each direction. What I wanted from my accommodation was somewhere that was clean, quiet and relaxed with a decent kitchen! It was generally all of those things. There's plenty of space for storage if two couples/a family of 4 stayed there. It's a short walk to the beach and it's so easy to get onto the main A roads and get into Porthleven/Helston or St Ives, Lands End, Porthcurno etc! We had a lovely holiday and part of that was down to staying somewhere like we did. Hopefully I'll be back in Cornwall in the spring, and I'd consider staying here again. Mike

“Close to the beach”

Reviewed 19 Sep 2016

Close to the beach and the costal path. A place you can use as a base to explore this area of Cornwall.

“Idyllic for a little family holiday that isn't in the hustle and bustle of a busy town.”

Reviewed 4 Sep 2016

This cottage was perfect for us as it was two couples plus a baby. The cottage has enough space and we didn't feel like we were stepping on anyone's toes. Really well done accommodation that feels homely as soon as you walk in. Good cooking facilities for evening meals and breakfast. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Hi Charlotte Thank you for your review and we are so pleased that you had a nice stay. We hope that you come and stay again soon. Regards Luke & Jenna Zorab
