“Excellent short stay”

Reviewed 25 Oct 2016

We were a group of 4 girls staying for 2 nights whilst attending a wedding at nearby Great Hall. Carole greeted us on arrival and ensured we had everything we needed. A welcome pack of essential food items had been left for us which was a lovely touch. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable for 4 people with plenty of mirrors for 4 girls getting ready!! Carole went over and above as a host on a number of occasions during our stay and we couldn't have asked for anything better for our short break and would definitely recommend East Lee to anyone wishing to stay in the area.

Owner's reply: Thank you for taking the time to review us! So glad you enjoyed your stay it was lovely to meet you all , hope the wedding rap went well! We look forward to welcoming you back soon x

“Absolutely perfect cottage when travelling with our dogs.”

Reviewed 6 Sep 2016

This is the fourth day of our holiday and so it has been brilliant. Would recommend the cottage to anyone. It's clean, comfy and perfect for our two dogs with its enclosed garden. Wonderful welcome pack too even down to doggie treats. Would certainly book it again and recommend it to friends

Owner's reply: Thank you so much for taking the time to review Eastlee.....half way through your holiday!! Hope the other half was just as good!!!. Lovely to meet you both and your adorable retired and "in training" guide dogs what a wonderful job you do . We look forward to welcoming you back soon Carol

“Absolutely beautiful”

Reviewed 25 Jun 2016

I booked this holiday for my parents 50th wedding anniversary, so they could go and visit family. When they arrived at the property they were greeted with a beautifully presented and very clean holiday home ( mother described it as 5* luxury), and Carol had gone the extra mile not only was there a welcome food hamper but they had decorated a room with anniversary banners, cup cakes and flowers. The location was quiet and very restful for them and the dog loved the immaculately presented garden. Carol popped around to welcome them and mum found her to be very friendly and welcoming. I can only say a huge thank you to Carol for her hospitality and making our gift extra special. Overall they would highly recommend this property

Owner's reply: Thank you for the review! I think after 50 years of marriage a few treats are well deserved! So glad your mum and dad enjoyed their break away and we hope to welcome them back soon! x

“excellent accomodation ,hosts, facilities, location, parking, and fenced private garden”

Reviewed 28 Mar 2014

Carol and Lee were more than helpful providing a welcome pack, logs and two newly laid eggs. The accommodation was spacious and clean and the facilities were more than adequate. Far exceeded our expectations. There are shops and eating places nearby. It is the perfect place to explore the Fylde coast. Good walks on the doorstep. Cosy log fire. A little hidden gem. People and dog friendly. We will definitely be back

Owner's reply: thank you for taking the time to review Eastlee, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay and for us to exceed your expectations is great! Hopefully next time you stay with us our chickens will be in full laying mode and manage a full box! Look forward to seeing you soon

“A beautiful well equipped place to stay”

Reviewed 20 Jan 2014

We would recommend this property without doubt.....Carol and Lee are the nicest of people. They made our stay perfect....Provided was tea..coffee..sugar..biscuits..cereal..milk..bread..jam..marmalade..crumpets....how thoughtful..also fairy liquid..dish cloth..pan scrub..soap in bathroom and kitchen tea towels..The cottage is so well equiped it would be hard to think of anything else I could add to the comfort...the log fire was an amazing experience although we were never cold the heating is really good...Plenty of hot water all day.. The enclosed garden is a bonus if you have a dog..a bowl was filled with water ready for our arrival and a huge dog biscuit for Charlie..in fact he is still at the end of our week nibbling away at it...dog blankets provided too.....in fact Carol and Lee have thought of everything..a real home from home experience..we will definately be back...So convenient for all the Fylde coastal resorts and Lake district. Thank you so much.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your kind review I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay it is really important to us that all our guests have a great stay. it was a pleasure to meet you and We look forward to welcoming you back soon!

“The Place to Stay in Lancashire”

Reviewed 7 Nov 2013

A very warm friendly welcome and would definitely return - already recommended to friends and family. Property was close to motorway and therefore easy accessible to surrounding places. The property was clean and well kept. The owners had left information regarding the surrounding area, to shop, eat and places to visit.

Owner's reply: So glad you enjoyed your stay with us and we look forward to seeing you again soon

“Excellent stay”

Reviewed 3 Nov 2013

Lovely property, Carol made us very welcome, thoughtful welcome pack including logs for the wood burner. Couldn't fault any part of our stay. Explored the surrounding areas and enjoyed a trip to Blackpool lights. Try The Cottage fish and chip shop in Marton, busy place but well worth the queue! It was myself and my husband, our 5 year old son and our dog that stayed. I'm sure we will be back!,

Owner's reply: Thank you for taking to time to review Eastlee so glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to seeing you again soon
