CAPRI:

Lush, extraordinary, mild climate.

Capri is the Mediterranean island that has seen over the centuries by intellectuals, artists and writers, all enthralled by its magical beauty.

In 1997, UNESCO declared Pompei a “World Heritage Site” based on cultural criteria and in consideration of the extraordinary finds from the ancient city of Pompeii, Herculaneum and neighboring cities, buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. Destroyed with Pompeii in 79 AD, was rediscovered in 1709. Residential town without Pompei's commercial importance, surrounded by the villas of wealthy Romans, when the catastrophe of 79 AD Herculaneum was submerged under a torrent of mud and lava that hardened into a soft tufa, keeping intact many objects and many wooden parts of houses, which still can be seen today.
