The apartment is situated in a superb position in Positano, perched above the town with breathtaking views of Positano and the whole coastline. It is in a peaceful location just outside the town, and yet is within easy reach of Positano's bustling centre with its typical narrow streets, and shops with local artisan ceramics and fabrics.
The apartment has been recently renovated with good taste and has every modern convenience including air conditioning and opens onto a large terrace with gazebo where you can enjoy meals al fresco. Even more fascinating is the small garden (also furnished for outdoor dining) from where you can enjoy, incomparable, breathtaking views. From here one has the feeling of being suspended over the sea, an emotion which words alone cannot describe. Not to be under estimated is the value of the private parking, a rarity in Positano, together with the shared swimming pool situated in an incredibly panoramic position with a 180° view. An excellent shuttle service (every 45 mins) stops near the property and will take you right to the centre of the town. In the vicinity (500 mts) there are also a bus stops from where you can catch a bus for Sorrento and Amalfi. Positano stretches down from the main Sorrento-Amalfi road to the beach. The entrance to the town is at approximately 900 Mts (alternatively there is a short cut via a long stairway) Here you will find all essential amenities, delightful bars, confectioners and many typical little restaurants. There are small buses in town that continually shuttle between the centre of town which is situated in the lower part , and higher part of Positano. A must is dinner at Costantinos restaurant which is just a stones throw away and offers an excellent choice of local dishes at a reasonable price giving the opportunity to savour a delicious immersed in an enchanting panorama.

The Amalfi Coast region
Campania is located in the the south of Italy. It has a population of around 5.8 million people which makes it the second most popular region of Italy.
The Tyrrhenian sea is one of the biggest lures for tourists. With mountainside towns that tumble into the sea, the picturesque setting is not to be missed.
The capital of Campania; Naples is the birthplace of the popular Margherita pizza. Fresh ingredients covers the pizza at the traditional restaurants. Olive oil is one of the most spectacular ingredients the region boasts so be sure not to miss out!
Positino was a port of the Amalfi Republic in the medieval times. A relatively poor fishing village during the first half of the 20th century now attracts many tourists every year.
There are many sites to visit in Positino including the Santa Maria Assunta church, featuring a dome made of majolica tiles as well as the blue seas and beautiful pebble beaches.
Fornillo beach is the main Mediterranean beach for you to relax and soak up the sun whilst studying the bright, picturesque views.

"LOVELY VILLA, LOVELY HOLIDAY"
We stayed here last May/ June. We were anxious about this place at first I don't think the pictures do it justice. The villa is lovely, view amazing. A bit basic inside but very comfortable, and well equipped. The outside area is really lovely. With an amazing view. The shared pool is down a few steps to the side of the property. Most of the time we were the only people in it. The owners are lovely very hospitable they own the villa next store but only came at the weekends. Its right at the top of positano loads of steps down to the town and beach, but being fit active people this was ok. There is a shuttle bus that runs up and down to the town. Very useful for the way back up. The little store in the village was well stocked, with Italian stuff. The staff very helpful and some spoke good English. They even helped me carry my groceries back to the villa. Wine and beer very good value, beer is expensive everywere else. The restaurant in the village, a bit hit and miss the first meal we had was good, the second the service was awful. We had to wait ages, and they didn't really seem to want to bother. There are loads of great restaurants on the way down to the town and in the town. Really good food for about the same as you would pay at home for a decent meal. Would recommend the villa and the area to anyone. Wish we were going again this year. Maybe next.
