Bed & Breakfast, Self Catering retreat with pool in Central Portugal - Vale das Eguas (Santa Comba Dao, Mortagua, Penacova)

This beautiful property has been sympathetically renovated to a very high standard using quality materials and is tastefully decorated to retain the character with internal and external original stone walls renovated by local craftsmen. The accommodation is spacious, has a private courtyard with a pool and a taste of luxury.

Within the private courtyard is a small pool with an adjacent decked bistro area, a mature landscaped garden with a large patio of traditional cobbled paving, and several cosy sitting areas. From here there are stunning views of the Serra da Estrella mountains, the highest mountain in Portugal and the only ski resort. Snow can be seen from the terrace in winter and early spring. There is a traditional Portuguese BBQ and a small outside kitchen with a fridge freezer, convection/microwave griddle, toaster, coffee maker and utensils
