'Old Merchant House', Aberdeenshire is a stunning 18th Century old smugglers house on the historic harbour front at Portsoy. Available for holiday lets, 'Old Merchant House' has superb sea views from every room, has exposed beams, wooden floors and a log burning stove in the lounge. Packed with original features, the house is set over three floors, sleeping 6 in three bedrooms i king, 1 double plus a twin. The House has free wi-fi and there is parking directly outside the house. Close to all the NE of Scotland has to offer including the famous Whisky and Castle trails, 'Old Merchant House' is available for 3/4/7 and 14 night breaks.

The area has stunning beaches and an abundance of wildlife and coastal routes as well as being within driving distance of Royal Deeside, Cairngorm National Park, Speyside and is equidistant between Inverness and Aberdeen Airports.

Portsoy

Old Merchant House is located on the historic 17th century harbour and is within walking distance of shops, restaurants and general amenities. There are an abundance of coastal walks with stunning scenery as well as many local attractions including the Portsoy Salmon Bothy Museum, local music nights featuring traditional music and the Famous Scottish Traditional Boat Festival held in Portsoy each year which plays host to some 16,000 visitors over the weekend in June/July.
