Location description from owner

The Scotland region

Aberdeenshire is one of Scotland's most attractive and diverse counties. From the slopes of Ben Macdhui; the second highest mountain in Britain through the Cairngorm National Park to the Dee and Don valleys and on to the pretty coastal villages there is something for everyone who chooses to holiday in the area.
A land of castles including Balmoral and spectacular mountain and coastal trails. The wildlife is second to none. Sea Eagles and Golden Eagles are regularly seen and the famous Moray Firh Dolphins are resident in the area.
The cottages are perfectly located for a relaxing holiday in a wonderful part of the country.

Portsoy

Sandend is a 17th century fishing village, one of the smallest and perhaps one of the most attractive along the Banffshire coast.. The village has been granted conservation status and along with its neighbour Fordyce offers a relaxing and peaceful holiday destination
