“I would rate this accommodation as mostly adequate with at least one serious deficiency”

Reviewed 26 Sep 2016

The property is quite dated and tired. Although it could be described as adequate, it was not terribly well equipped. The biggest problem was the showering facilities which were poor. The shower attachment over the bath alternated between cold and very hot water and the shower in the sauna room was also inadequate. When we arrived we were told that the water was not fit for drinking, which may have had something to do with the heavy rain over the weekend. Some drinking water was supplied but only one and a half litres a day, which was no way near adequate for four adults and two young children. It would have been helpful if we had been warned about this before our arrival. The location is beautiful and there are stunning views over the loch.
