"Excellent location and wonderful house"
My husband and I stayed at 2 The Quarry in October and we absolutely loved it! Wonderful setting with amazing views over the coast, we loved waking up to open the curtains to see the sea in all it's glory. The house is equally spectacular with everything you require for a comfortable stay, a real home from home. A short walk away from the local shop, post office, pub and also the harbour where my husband tried his hand at a bit of fishing. We would highly recommend it.

"Fantastic house, short walk to beautiful beaches."
The house was amazing, everything you could wish for and more. It was very comfortable, and very clean. The small village is beautiful and a very short walk the beach. Our grand children loved it, we all wanted to stay here longer. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone, If ever I was back that way I would rent this house without a doubt. Thank you for letting us stay.

"HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - FANTASTIC VIEWS, GREAT LOCATION, STYLISH, VERY WELL EQUIPPED & CLEAN"
I stayed here for a long weekend with friends but would work just as well with two families or large number of children. Really comfortable and well equipped - good number of modern and stylish bathrooms for configuration of comfy bedrooms. The house is arranged to enjoy the magnificent view over the whole of Portscatho. Very stylish open plan Sitting/Dining area with modern Kitchen with doors to glass balcony to maximise views!! Everything you may need is thought of - excellent amount of glasses, mugs etc plus books, dvds, games etc for those lazy days. Good storage and extras eg: crab lines, nets, buckets. Highly recommended - Definitely would stay again!

"Very comfortable and well equipped with outstanding views across the bay."
Had a really great mid week break, in this deceptively spacious and modern house. The standard of the rooms, kitchen, bathrooms was excellent and the view from the balcony adjacent to the dining area was stunning. Would definitely stay there again as it works extremely well for all sorts of groups ie friends, family groups etc. Porthscatho is very unspoilt too with great amenities, including a lovely beach cafe. Highly recommended.

"Views to die for"
We had a lovely few days at Portscatho, staying at this superbly located house. The Quarry was a great base to explore the Cornish coastline with its lovely beeches and villages. You can walk directly to a few beautiful coves to play on and it's only a short drive to various others for picnics and crabbing. The house has everything that you could need, making it a home from home and the views of the coast from the lounge are really breath-taking.

"A perfect, stressfree seaside holiday with all amenities available."
The brilliant thing about Portscatho is that once there you don't have to get in your car if you don't want to. The Quarry is in a great location at the heart of the village and easy walking distance to everything that matters - shop, beach, pub, post office. We had a great time and thoroughly recommend it. Inside it's a haven in a superb location. It is newly renovated with lovely open plan living and kitchen area, with a balcony from which there is a wonderful view of the bay. Great for breakfast on a sunny morning. The kitchen is very user friendly, and well stocked with good quality equipment. There is a good entrance/hall area as you come in to put wet, sandy things. Lovely beaches and lovely walks from the doorstep as well as plenty of things to visit further a field.
Thanks Angus - glad you all had a good time. We took your feedback on board regarding pets, and I'm pleased to report that from now onwards, almost all pets will be very welcome to stay at 2 The Quarry! Just ask before booking. Kind regards Simon & Emma
