“Perfect for all ages, especially for anyone with more limited mobility.”

Reviewed 31 Aug 2016

See my review of August 2015. Some updates since last visit have improved this home even more- i.e. new double bed, solid table and chairs in conservatory, new toilet, new freezer in garage. Cleared space behind garage provides sheltered area suitable for BBQ. Getting in and out of shower needs extra care if guest has limited mobility, otherwise everything is easily accessible.

Great bungalow great location, pub next door ok but not for beer or cider lovers try the Plume and Feathers down the road. Area very quite if you want this, this is the place to stay, spacious fab front garden back garden sea views bungalow has everything you need for a chill out time with Towan black 10 mins down the lane Will return 1 day

Many thanks for your kind words. Glad you enjoyed yourselves.

“Excellent - Highly Recommended”

We have been visiting Portscatho and Gerrans for many years and I can honestly say this is the nicest place we have stayed. It is very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Beautiful and clean. Ray,the owner, was very helpful and every effort was made to make us welcome.

“Lovely bungalow in a great location”

Reviewed 6 Nov 2013

We visited with our 2 terriers in October and the weather wasn't overly kind to us so we spent a lot of time in the property which is when you really appreciate a truely comfy billet and Itldo fits the bill. Some of the furnishing and decor aren't uber-modern but the property really delivers on being a home from home. The garden is lovely and totally secure which is ideal for those with pets or younger children and it (and several rooms) has far reaching sea views which nicer weather would have made even more attractive. Itldo is located a few hundred yards from the harbour and beach at Portscatho and has easy access to The Roseland, Falmouth, Truro and the Lizard to name but a few places. The Royal Standard pub is only a few yards away and it serves excellent food and various real ales. Overall a great holiday let which we hope to visit again next year.

Thank you for your kind comments, we're glad you enjoyed your stay. Many thanks.

We had a fantastic time at Itldo, the cottage was very nice, the local pubs did nice food and all the people in the village were laid back and friendly. If we go back to Cornwall, we will definitely book Itldo again to stay. Ray was always very helpful and friendly.

Thanks for your kind words, glad you enjoyed your stay at our bungalow and the surroundings.

“Great location...”

Reviewed 11 Oct 2012

A well equipped and well located bungalow. The sea was a 10 minute walk downhill (longer coming back!) and there were two great pubs close by, both of which served good food. The weather was mixed during our stay but the conservatory meant we could feel like we were outdoors, whilst being sheltered from the weather indoors. In any case, the bungalow was comfortable for spending time indoors and the views from the back were great. We felt very at home from the minute we arrived and the week passed all too quickly.

Thanks for your review, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay.

“Fantastic place, very clean and comfortable....great for families”

Reviewed 14 Sep 2012

A very nice bungalow. The kids especially had a fantastic time, particularly enjoying raiding the cupboard full of classic family board games. It really was a very relaxing place to stay, and most importantly for us, clean and well maintained. If you wake up early enough, the sunrise view over the sea was pretty spectacular. We used this as a base from which to explore the various parts of Cornwall via day trips. It was a real pleasure to return here to relax in the evenings. I would definitely recommend this bungalow to others. A word of advice though, make sure you bring a decent satnav, its invaluable here.

Thank you for your kind comments, glad you enjoyed your stay.

“Lovely Bungalow with everything you need (and great views)”

Reviewed 29 Sep 2011

We stayed here as we were attending a wedding at Rostague Manor (on the same road down the lane) and had a fantastic 4 day break. The Bungalow was situated at the top of the hill in Gerrans up from Portscatho. Had a lovely little pub next door and a walk down the hill into Portscatho and you had another pub, local shop (with everything you need) butchers and a beautiful little beach. The Bungalow itself had 3 spacious bedrooms, good size kitchen (all amenities) and a big conservatory, which was very warm and bright and made a lovely breakfast setting. The Garden had amazing views out to see and enough room for my 18 month old to charge around. Would definitely recommend this to anyone and will be back.
