Harbourside Cottage is a bright and comfy terraced waterside home with direct views of Portreath Harbour. With unlimited Wi-Fi, the accommodation offers two bedrooms on the second floor; the master bedroom which has double aspect views on the harbour and the sea out to Gull Rock with a king size divan bed plus a smaller bedroom ideal for children or teenagers with bunk-beds*. A good sized shower & WC is also on the upper floor.
On the first floor is an open plan living room with fully fitted and equipped kitchen has French doors opening onto a Juliette balcony that also looks down on the harbour boats and the changing tides.
The entrance hall leads to the garage with washing machine and tumble dryer and out to the lawned rear garden perfect for evening barbecues.

Harbourside Cottage is well placed to give easy level access to the beaches, pubs, shops and public transport. For those who love walking and biking the South West Coast path leads to Gwithian to the south and Porthtowan and St Agnes to the North. The mining trails lead directly from Portreath to Devoran and a gentle cycle will take you there for lunch.
Just up through Illogan woods is the lovely Gwel an Mor resort offering vistors indoor swimming and gym facilities as well as tennis for a small fee. They have a collection of animals on view including Raindeer, donkeys and chickens. Birds of Prey are often on show on selected days.
Tehidy woods and the Golf Course also has places to eat and a lovely lake with swans, ducks and squirrels and lots more besides.
The children will enjoy a visit to The Cornish Gold Mine, Mount Hawke Skate Park, and Mountain Bike and BMX tracks nearby. In the village there is a children's park and gardens.
The local towns of Redruth and Camborne are a great place to shop and hunt a bargain, with main supermarkets available at Pool.
Holiday makers will find it hard not to relax and unwind in this lovely spot and with the added welcome gifts including cream tea, wine and basic provisions including ground coffee for the cafitiere, toys for the beach and videos for the kids, everyone will enjoy their stay.

Cornwall is the best... from Porrtreath you can reach Lands End, St Ives, The Lizard, Newquay, The Roseland, Falmouth or Truro witjin a comfortable drive. All major attractions are accessible including The Seal Sanctuary, Eden Project, The National Maritime Museum, Newquay Zoo and many other fun places including Heartlands and Geevor Mines reflecting the rich history of the area of Camborne, Pool and Redruth which are only 5 minutes by car from Harbourside.

Portreath

The National Trust and South West Coast paths are a must and for walking or mountain biking there are the mining trails which are great for all the family. The beachea are sandy, safe and well guarded by the RNLI in the summer. There is a small beach next to the Waterfront pub which is ideal for young children. Other pubs include the Bassett, Portreath Arms and there is also The Atlantic Bar and Cafe offering fiah and chips tobtakeaway in the summer, plus the super Chinese takeaway. Luve music and quizs are popular in season.

For a small fee you can learn to kayak or take trips on a fishing boat; learn to surf or body board; play golf at Tehidy Gold and Country Club; use the facilities at Gwel an Mor Resort which includes tennis, indoor pool, gym, sauna and spa pool.

“Cosy apartment overlooking wotking harbour. Spotlessly clean”

Great service. Very cosy, suitable for 2 adults and 2 small ish children. Fantastic welcome pack on arrival. All bedding super clean and everything you would need. Thanks x
