From the owner

We have been letting Casa Clara for many years and it has proved a very happy holiday location for many guests including quite a few who come back year after year. It is in the classy Porto de Mos area of Lagos above cliffs and the famous sandy Porto de Mos beach which is just 5 minutes walk away.

The apartment is ideal for families with children of all ages. It is ground floor with easy access to the pool but with a degree of privacy. Parents can keep an eye on the children who can harmlessly roam the gardens and if you have a toddler, the terrace is easily secured to make a good sized play area - and peace of mind for you.

It has two bedrooms, a double and a twin and the lounge has a comfortable sofa bed - good for an additional child or young adult.

Out of school holiday time couples will find this an ideal base for the cultured highlights of Lagos and the Western Algarve providing an elegant retreat if you just want to relax in peaceful and luxurious surroundings.

Very well equipped , spacious and comfortable apartment. This is the 4th one we have stayed in on this complex and probably the best. Netflix a bonus with having an infant with us. Many thanks.

Why can't I call Dr Janet (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Dr Janet (the owner) a message.

If Dr Janet (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
