Location description from manager

The Sardinia region

Sardinia:
Long uninhabited, despite its ancient geological origin, Sardinia is the second largest island in the Mediterranean and has an irresistibly geographical position. Sardinia has some of the finest beaches in the world, with beautiful white sands and clear blue sea.

Italian? yes but with a culture of its own that has developed over time, due to its position at the heart of the western Mediterranean Sea. The Island is mountainous and rugged and tourists should be encouraged to go inland and explore the fabulous scenery.

Calgiari is the capital and can be found in the South East of the island. Olbia in the North East is the area to visit for the most beautiful white sandy beaches, exclusive Hotels and Mariners all situated on the wonderful Costa Smeralda.

If you enjoy history and ancient archeological sites, then again Sardinia will satisfy your interests boasting for example the oldest building in Italy, dating back to pre-historic times as well as many more other sites.

The Pevero Golf Club at Porto Cervo (designed in 1967 by the landscape architect Robert Trent Jones) gives golfers the chance of testing their skills on a challenging course while enjoying some breathtaking scenery. Indeed, Golf Magazine has ranked it among the world's Top 50 courses.
