This listing is a private, spacious, beautiful one bedroom within a two bedroom house. It is located in the sunshine community of Portmore, which is just a stone throw away from Kingston.

NB. 2 or 3 bedroom is also available for rent, just ask.

Between both houses I have 4 bedrooms for rent, 3 at one property and one at the other. Can accommodate a total of 8 people.

Its a great stay for overnight intransit passengers to Kingston and also for vacationers who needs to soak up some sun at home or at the beach or enjoy a private retreat.

It includes a private master bedroom and bathroom. Modern granite countertop kitchen and living area (shared)

The neighborhood is quiet and friendly for those who just want to relax. Portmore is dubbed the 'Sunshine community', it is known for its very hot sunshine right throughout the year. Beaches are within close proximity to location offering weekly beach events such as beach parties with seafood galore. Shopping malls are also within close proximity. Public taxis and buses are very accessible.

Arrangements can be made for visits to historical sites such as Bob Marley's homes in Trench Town and Hope Road, Two Sisters Cave in Helshire. Get away from Montego Bay and Ocho Rios come experience the other side of Jamaica!!

TIPS

The cost of food in Jamaica is a bit higher than the US, taxis-public or charter and buses are readily available. A ride to kingston on a public bus which is fully air conditioned is about usd 1.00. on a chartered taxi its about usd 20.00. From my home to helshire beach, the cost on a taxi runs from 10-15 usd. You can take the bus or a chartered taxi to the beach. The bus is time consuming, but relaxing. The taxi is faster but cost a bit more.

NB If you need accommodation for more than 3 persons, please ask about my other properties, ie, two bedroom and studio unit at a different but nearby location

How do damage deposits work?
