On Derwentwater you can enjoy a variety of watersports and even launch your own boat. You can hop on the Keswick launch and take a scenic trip around the lake, hopping off at the different jetties. Around the western shore of Derwentwater, there is a lovely path through the trees which offers glorious views across the lake and over the fells.
