Grade 2 listed terraced cottage situated in the pretty village of Tremadog (0.5 miles from Porthmadog). The village's centrepiece is its iconic square set against a breathtaking cliff-face backdrop which is a 1 minute walk away. The square has several good amenities including two nice pubs with restaurants, a Bistro, a small convenience store and a fish and chip shop which, in our opinion, sells the best fish and chips in the area.The cottage includes 2 bedrooms, central heating, Wi-Fi,TV with freesat and smart freetime that provides BBC iPlayer, 4oD, etc. It has a fully fitted kitchen with microwave, gas hob and electric oven, toaster, fridge freezer, washer/dryer. The bathroom has a large shower area. Small enclosed rear yard with sunny outside seating area. Master bedroom has views of the mountains, and a king size bed with memory foam mattress.The town of Porthmadog is the gateway to the outstandingly beautiful Llyn Peninsular and, apart from the famous and beautiful Black Rock Sands which are a five minute drive away, amenities also include various shops and restaurants and the famous Welsh Highland Railway and Ffestiniog railways for trips into Snowdonia. Mount Snowdon itself is also easily reached with its famous mountain railway a must to enjoy.The surrounding area is perfect for walking (with the North Wales Coastal footpath on the doorstep), rock climbing and is a 5 mile drive into the beautiful village of Bedgelert which also has further outstanding walks.Parking on the road outside the property is available with nearby parking in the village square.

The property is accessable by keysafe at the front door, this has a 4 digit code that is normally set to the last 4 digits of your mobile. You will find two keys in this safe and please return to the keysafe on leaving. I will try to meet with you at the property on your arrival to assist with any information or assistance with operation of appliances. You can always contact for any assistance needed by phoning my mobile ( this number is listed in the cottage) Please note during the current pandemic, extra cleaning is in place in the property together with the provision of hand sanitisers and disinfectant in the hallway just inside the property.

Lovely cottage in quiet area, close to all attractions. Good places to eat within walking distance. Great base and has everything you need. Lovely suntrap in back garden. The owners are very helpful.

Why can't I call Terry (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Terry (the owner) a message.

If Terry (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
